Solo Q is pretty much 3v1 now
DCs and suicides are rampant.
No wonder every match is so stressful because the game is balanced around 4 survivors and that is becoming a rarer occurrence in Solo Q.

I get survivors that do that when I play killer. It’s so annoying because a 3v1 is so easy to win no matter which killer I play. People that do that are the reason kill rates are so high.

There's a popular streamer who survivor mains and does that a lot. When called out for it/screwing over his teammates, his defense is 'well no one is forcing them to stay in there' like ???
So yea, there's lots of people who are selfish/don't give a crap about the match, if they want to leave over stupid things, they will. It sucks but nothing you can do.

Yeah, it’s kind of a shame people are like that. I like the DC penalty but suiciding on hook is possible and there isn’t a penalty for that besides depipping. To me, they should get rid of the chance to escape and have the survivors do something completely different in the second hook stage.

I had a game last night where my wife and I queued together. We entered an Autohaven map, and our Killer was a Plague.
The Killer found me in about 15 seconds, and we began a heavy chase that lasted over a minute. After that minute I was hooked, and immediately the two potatoes (who didn't get a single generator done) both DC within ten seconds of each other.
They weren't even hit! I was! They never even encountered the Killer. The Killer felt so bad for us, that after she knocked us both down and asserted her dominance (fair), she let us go out of pity. If she hadn't, we both would have depipped. Now I know "rank doesn't matter" but I think it matters just enough that I shouldn't drop because my teammates are DC'ing cowards.

Whenever he loses he'll complain about the game, or blame his teammates. But he'll always showboat and teabag upon winning. Pure cringe.
When we have large profile streamers behaving like this, it's a bit sad, as they're basically the role model for countless other players.

As for this topic, as with every topic announcing the demise of solo queue, nah. Anecdotally, I've seen only a handful of DCs in the last few months, and almost never even see first hook suicides either. Maybe it is just me, but considering how once upon a time this kind of thing genuinely was rampant, sounds hard to believe.

Yes true, but just the manner he starts insulting the teammates is disgusting, as if everyone has 10,000 hours like him and can play at the level he does.
It's just textbook bad winner and bad loser. I watched one game he played against a Huntress who demolished the whole team on Lerys. The last shot he got on him was a bit questionable hitbox over a pallet. He chose to call him garbage and started insulting him for the shot. No gg wp or anything for the rest of the flawlessly played match by a skilled Huntress (also Lerys isn't even that great a map for Huntress).
Anyways, I'll stop now, as I don't want to derail the topic and go on too much about a specific streamer. Just wanted to vent about this person for a while lol.

You're lucky if it's 3v1. Usually it's 3v2, especially if there is a Meghead on your team

My lady and I did duo the other night. Like an easy 90% 3v1 all night.
Why does everyone kill themselves on first hook? We are coming. Ur not hitting 2nd stage. Damn, have some patience, gonna finish this gen.

I play at btw rank 5 and rank 2 (depending on rank reset). I have 2,700 hours as survivor. Most of that time is in Solo Q.

Whenever this happens as killer, I always just sigh. I always end up farming, or playing the game normally and just letting them all live. This ######### ruins matches.

Well, I have also played for quite a long time and I will say that it is rather uncommon to have games like that so commonly. I also mainly play solo queue at rank 1 and the amount of DC's and people killing themselves on first hook hasn't really happened more over time. It does happen, but not every game. Apparently, it happens enough for a lot of people to complain about it, and I don't blame them. It is a pretty douchey thing to do.
