You can see right there that you only got 2 silver and 2 gold emblems. If you had hovered over the silver emblems it would have told you what you didn’t do in the match in those emblem categories to have gotten gold or iridescent.

There would/should have been no obsession, Spine chill you will figure out as they start running way before you are even near them, every survivor perk you can figure out except maybe unbreakable and soul guard but both are avoidable in most cases.

But that was his response to someone laughing at him for having noed (because this is the forums I don't care that he had it or not) when not one survivor had any of those perks, as well as a low rank (granted they could've been on a break from dbd) the point is none of those perks were at play. Not pipping is a weird reason to stop playing especially over this kind of match. Seems maybe practice is needed but to uninstall? Odd

Sorry you had a bad game. Take a break and maybe try again some day. As you can see from this thread there are plenty of people waiting to crap on you for expressing your frustration.
But also know you will run into far worse as you rank up. And pips and ranks really mean nothing so don't stress about that. ✌️💀✌️

@Behavior, since we all are going back to 20s anyway, why not revert the changes and make pipping as killer easier. I think this is what divides us.
U get 3ks and are told, "no, not good enough." U want us to play nicer, more interactive, then let us ######### pip doing it.

Pips don't go off bp they go off emblems that's why you only safety pipped because you got 2 golds and 2 silvers.

Yeah, don't know why everyone is being so rude here. Obviously there was no need to post this but I've had plenty of games where I didn't pip despite it being a long game with no tunneling/camping.
It's funny how people complain about fixing killer emblems & then sh*t on somebody else for it.

...So you're leaving because matchmaker did its job, put you against what look to be fair teammates- looking at their perk loadout versus yours, as you're running Zanshin Tactics and only one of them had an exhaustion perk which wasn't even Tier 3- but... you're leaving because you didn't pip. In a game where rank doesn't actually matter.

just because you get three kills doesn't mean you should rank up. the point of the emblems is to make sure the effort is not done in one or two areas but in all areas. do you let a cop rank up because he caught three robbers in a bank but only after letting them kill 3 innocents because he was slow on the uptake? no you don't, you talk with him, help him train harder and better and maybe next time he'll save the 3 innocents and take down the 3 robbers. that's what the emblem system is, it's a way to make sure you don't just put all your eggs in one basket. HOWEVER the system is flawed and needs work done on it, what I do not know but I think something needs to be done.

It's not real life, it is a video game.
I get how the emblem system works, and how it rewards different things. But all those things are in service of killing the survivors, or escaping depending on the role. I think it's positively dumb that the game is structured in such a way that you can succeed at your main goal and still get penalized. I realize that this guy safety pipped so he's really just treading water here, but if you are killing the majority of survivors and not ranking up -- especially at this green rank in the screenshots -- yeah, that just feels awful.
I get a "oh, great, well thanks for nothing" feeling when, say, I escape as a survivor and de-pip (usually because the killer was AFK or something that prohibited diverse point scoring events). The emblem system ain't right, and it really should reward players more clearly for accomplishing their primary goals.

Seeing that you got silver devout and silver gatekeeper. Did you just get kills with noed but got little hooks? Either way thats a really bad Oni build with the only good part being ruin and thats without undying. The survivors have like 4/16 possible meta perks most of which are not even maxed so its not that. Where they hiding all game? Is that why it was 30minutes?

many other video games require you to do things that are outside of your main goal and it's accepted. the point is the system rewards you for doing more than the minimum. do the minimum you might or might not loose "RANK" do MORE and you will be rewarded. it is how the game is structured right now and guess what it's not real life but it is set up this way. I gave you an example.... here have a NOT REAL LIFE example: Mass Effect (first one) if you maximize your RENEGADE score you will get extra missions that you won't if you maximize your PARAGON score... And you can still boink the girl you are going after even if you are a dick to others, and even then it doesn't matter if you tell your bosses to go jump off the nearest space station or what not and you are still afforded the status you have with them instead of them slapping you down by stripping you of your rank and status because you're a fucktard that has issues.
HOPE you enjoyed your NOT REAL LIFE example of what the emblem system is. and if you come back and say this isn't a single player game like mass effect I'm going to come back at you with the following argument: "You do not understand the rules are set down by the devs and this is one of them. don't like them? keep moving on." I even said there needs to be a rework of the emblem system.... and you yell at me because you don't consider this real life? wow.... examples are great to SHOW how things work but when you want specific style examples you are hurting for a reason to keep playing a game.
