Morning-early noon games are unplayable

I don’t know what’s going on, but for me as a casual player in red rank the morning/early noons are nightmares. I just get destroyed with 0-1 killers 5-6-7 games in a row. Full sweat teams... a chase was 40 sec long? 3 gens pops...While other time of the day I perform pretty well. I really hope the MMR will bring balance and finally I can play without stress.

For me its the same. Morning is a lot harder. I get faster matchmaking with survivor, so that means there is are fairer survivor/killer ratio then in the evening. So the noob survivor play mostly in the evening, the good ones play always. (European server)

But it could be the weird matchmaking too. I never did understand why rank 10 killer gets rank 1 teams at the same time when rank 1 killer gets rank 10 survivors.

I'm like Mikeasaurus. Morning, noon and afternoon games are a doozy. Everyone's laid back and chilling and using dumb builds.

It's when the sun sets that the sweat shops pop up with meta builds and for killers OP add-ons and I start getting demolished over and over.

I guess no enough player base so the searching gets extended.

I feel you, i typically don’t play survivor during the morning-afternoon so I can’t comment

I assume you're a EU player, off peak times are harder to to those players not working etc. So tend to be better as they have more time to play, not everyone but yeah that happens for all servers though. Having said that if you are EU the games are just harder in general, if played on both eu and us servers and I dont know why but eu seems more toxic and less casual (this is the same for alot of games though)

    For me it's more like,

One day I'll have to sweat my ass off for a 3k otherwise I'll get destroyed.

Then the next day I'll be smashing survivors left and right all day.

Then the next day it's right back to getting ######### on.

Then you're in the same boat as me, it's why killer isn't much fun half the time and it's why I play more survivor now, can run whatever perks I like without it really impacting how well I do, killer on the other hand needs gen defense and more meta perks to beat the more competitive players especially when they group up with all players at high skill

Morning in the UK is interesting, you get a few people from America but mostly from other European countries. Afternoon I mostly get other people in the UK, when it goes into the evening you get loads of people from America and a few from Australia.

This is my experience, yours will differ.

How come you can match up with remote regions? I tried to invite to my lobby someone from an american server and it was not possible.

I feel like the exact same occurs. Up until the evening majority of my games are calm and fun for both sides, however later in the day the matches get more frustrating, in which I usually face the same killers (Freddy and Spirit) or I usually face survivors that are clearly swf and play as toxic as possible.

Yeah, I occasionally get time at work to play a game or two during downtime, and the games seem considerably harder. I imagine as it's from people who have more free time playing, so have more hours.

I have friends who are in those regions, so I often get pared with the regions that have them in it. By remote you mean Australia right? You can easily fake your PSN so perhaps they are in England.

Same here. Killer in the mornings at red rank is typically very hard, barring the occasional bad team. I guess there are fewer red rank killers at that time and matchmaking is actually able to match against veteran survivors.

Otoh, from late in the afternoon trials start to become easier with rainbow lobbies, to the point that I can practically 4k while eating my dinner and watching YouTube.

The irony is that when playing survivor, sometimes I run into those killers who completely lack fundamentals (bloodlusting, vaulting TLs, etc.) and there I tell myself "matchmaking strikes again, this must be a yellow rank". Then at the end of the match it was a rank 1 or 2 killer. You can tell they mostly play in the evenings and pick up bad habits.

Fun story. A couple of weeks ago I was in the chat of a NA streamer. There was this guy who was telling how he got to play in EU. He was shocked at how sweaty EU red rank survivors were and how they're glued to gens (relatively to NA counterparts, according to him).

It's the total opposite for me, mornings are when I like to play the most, afternoon is also fine, however, night is just horrendous if you're not in a swf. Survivor queue takes too long. I usually play killer, but I also get the sweatiest teams too.

General tip for players, don't play at night unless you're willing to get your ass handed to you by a full 4 man squad of P3 claudettes with brown toolboxes.

The difference between us and eu is insane, not all games but far more common. I guess us people are more chill, I tend to get on better with them socially anyway, just a shame you can't auto match with them, I dont mind the 150ping. Crossplay is worse for latency anyway lol

Killer matches are much more enjoyable in the morning. After around 5-6pm I start getting all red ranks

I rarely play during the day but when I do my games seem to be way better. The survivors in the middle of the night seem to be terrible for me.

I'm in the EU servers and it's the opposite for me tbh. Pretty much instant lobbies and everyone's more likely to be near the same rank. It's just the evenings where it's rainbow ranks and longer waiting times.

I don't care much about opponents skill level, but during the daytime survivor queue times are instant and killer queue takes forever. While evening-night queue times are absolute opposite. So as killer I prefer play at evening.

For me there is practically a toggle switch at 9:00PM. Before that, fine. After that... the red ranks come out in force.

someone suggested turning crossplay off to make matchmaking quicker. I just wanted to say it worked and I got a survivor game fairly quick. thank you to who suggested that.
