Totem Bug, cannot cleanse??

There was a totem on the Coldwind Farm map which spawned somewhere I thought I could cleanse it just fine, but when I tried there was no option to cleanse it. Very confusing. I could see it, I could get to it just barely, but there was no option to interact with it.

This has been a known bug for a while, and the devs are aware of it, but I have no idea if they actually plan to fix it.
