We'll Make It is the most frustrating perk in the game
ALMOST EVERY TIME THIS HAPPENS WHEN I USE THIS PERK
If the Killer is far away, the Survivors I unhook still run away in panic, wasting both their and mine time. They don't know what is We'll Make It, even some Red Ranks.
IMO, We'll Make it should apply its own Status Effect so people are more likely to know they are gonna be healed very fast, but I am not sure it will solve the problem of less experienced people overwhelming red ranks bcs of the terrible ranking system and matchmaking.
Hopefully MMR will be very soon and good enough to prevent such kind of frustration.

Haha, yesterday happened the exact opposite to me, a Jake that unhooked ME didn't know that he has We'll make it and left me waiting for a heal under the Hook...
But after a few seconds of tbagging in the same spot he turned back and healed me, so it was after all a happy ending.

Yeah, honestly I'd just say the main issue here is match making and teammate skill level LOL
Most decent red ranks will know when a heal off hook is optimal, but there are so many players who run like a chicken instead of accepting the heal.
And then there are always those darn green rank Megs that somehow made it in your match that make you chase them across the entire map to heal. Then, if you follow them, they have self care anyways and basically just wasted even more time because they insist on healing themselves anyways.

Pretty sure it already does pop up an icon when the person unhooking you has it

It does, but players seem to not know what that bluish icon on the bottom left means.

Are you sure they are running away in panic and not with purpose?

I hope the new MMR will be released very soon, and in an acceptable state so players are not paired with somebody lacking basic knowledge at high skill levels.

People I unhook may sprint away in terror as the Killer patrols gens or chases somebody else.

I don't consider knowing every single perk as basic knowledge. specially with a perk that's so rarely seen

We'll make it is quite good but try combining it with any survivor aura reading perks, it might be close to meta

Funny, i had the exact opposite experience.
Someone unhooks me, and start healing me, so i think ok, even though the killer so far already returned to the hook after an unhook, and when the killer comes and i am not healed up, the healer doesnt tank the hit, but instead body blocks me to get away himself. At that point i dont struggle after the rehook.

I can think of a few reasons why you would leave and not heal under hook other than terror.

We'll make it should freeze Survivor in front of the hook so I can freaking heal them.

We'll Make It does apply a status to the unhooked so they know you have it. When they added that notification I was very happy for that patch. The issue is randoms. In the words of Ron White
"You can't fix stupid"
