wiggle bar regresses before being able to wiggle?

while I was playing Flip Flop and Power Struggle I noticed that Power Struggle activated while I was picked up and deactivated after I was able to wiggle which was really depressing. It was also kinda weird that the wiggle bar regresses before being able to wiggle.

Was it something else or is it a bug?

    No, you should really read the perk description. Flipflop converts HALF of your recover progress into wiggle progress.

    I read the description but you didn't look at the video right? the perk was lit up and a moment before I could drop the palette it turned grey. if it was the case that I didn't recover enough it should have not lit up.

    My first guess is that flip flop might have been coded in an awkward way, and it simultaneously recovers you and increases your wiggle progression at 100% rate. The 0.5 modifier to wiggle is only applied afterwards, once the pick up animation is completed and the wiggle bar appears.

    If it's true, it didn't make litetally any difference untill power struggle release years later.

    It has to be a bug.

    Either that, or the Killer picked you up at the perfect moment for the wiggle bar to regress.

    Nonetheless, the perk lit up again sometime after she began to move and the bar reappeared. So, I’m calling it a bug.

    I didnt saw that power struggle lit up when you started struggling. For me it doesnt looked like 25% wiggle progress. So i thought power struggle was active after picking up bc the game was still converting the recovery progress.

    I guess the wiggle bar regresses in the pickup animation.
