Mori is useless

Not that I use them to begin with oh, but making it so that you can only kill a survivor that is already reached the second hook phase is pointless. Why would I want to instantly kill you like that when I can just hook you and instantly kill you? How about instead remove them completely and just make it so that all killers can kill the last survivor.

Depends. You know, maybe you aren't close to a hook. Or maybe your Mori is fast (like pigs) where you save a lot of time and game awareness by being able to go the direction you want.

Mori's aren't useless but they also are not meant to be a strength in the game. They are just a finisher, more of fun? I guess. Killing the last survivor (though this is niche) would rob the final survivor the chance of potentially wiggling off or using power struggle for example.

I honestly think Mori is fine at the moment. Far more pressing matters plaguing this game.

Moris counter DS, pallet saves, flashlight saves, Head On saves, Flip flop plays, Power Struggle plays, bodyblocking, hook sabotaging, and more. They absolutely have value, even if it's only for the last hook.

Though I like your idea of allowing all Killers to kill the last Survivor (Cypress Mori base-kit basically).

I just like the animation, if I'm in the mood I'll bring a cypress and see what happens

I think there should be a hefty bloodpoint bonus for doing a Mori. Right now a Mori offering is pretty much a Mortal Kombat Fatality: A more interesting and flashy way to kill a survivor who is on death hook.

While there's nothing wrong with that, I think the Mori should do a little more so there's more incentive to use it. A BP bonus (Let's say 10k BP per survivor Mori'd that is separate from the normal BP categories, or a 25% BP bonus per survivor mori like BBQ) would make the Mori more desirable to use.

It wouldn't impact gameplay, just a BP bonus as a reward for doing it. Mori's are technically "expensive" items on the bloodweb (green and pink rarity) and you're purchasing them just for the opportunity to execute a survivor with a cool animation when they're on death hook.

If you don't use them then why do you care?

I've been asking devs to remove toolboxes and green keys from the game for ages because I care about these and actually use them, but since they are junk right now I rather they be removed. But the devs won't remove them.

Basically this - having a Mori is still better than not having it.

I just enjoy that now when survivors see a secret offering when loading into the match someone doesn't dc and leave the rest in a infinite loading screen.

I run lightbourn so I'm immune to flashlights, I run iron grasp so I can hold onto you for awhile, I run agitation so I actually move faster caring you, and I run mad grit so if your buddies try to block me I'll wipe your entire party. The only good a mori did for me was to help finish off missions in my books. Lol

I also do not camp or tunnel. I main the Hag. There are several killer perks that allow you to instantly kill a survivor. Might as well just remove the Mori 😁

    1. Well I have no intention to tunnel survivors. Like a quite large part of the kilelr player base, that avoided moris in the past do. Especially after the upcoming DS changes. Moris shouldn't circumvent them even then. Maybe still an advantange, but an unhealthy one for the game in general.
    2. Quite situational and map dependend. I can count situations, where losing a hook created a difficult to hook situation on one hand. And sabotaging is something you can deal with as a killer and always problematic. Not the first hook.
    3. Sounds nice, but most pallet and flashlight saves happens early match. As the game continues, you expect them more and can judge and counter it better.
    4. Just because you have to do more. You could achieve the same with previous one-hook mori's when you choose to mori with the second one instead

After all, especially as somebody who likes to play killer the mori change feels more like a baindaid.Yeah it works for the overall health for the game. But I would advise every killer player to avoid moris in the bloodweb and go for bloodpoint offerings instead, that give you much more int he long turn. Only reason to play them is, if you want to see the animation. But that's something you enjoy maybe two or three times, before you go for a quick and efficient hook instead. Of course it isn't completely useless. But you can say the same for many things in this game, that are not used.

Rancor paired with nemesis or any other perk that allows you to switch your obsession would allow you to Mori style kill every survivor at the end of a match. Hex: Devour hope also allows Mori style kills. Mori are a waste of bp.

not when you hardtunnel off of second hook!

so in a way, moris encourage tunneling even more than before, as now tunneling is actually the only way of getting usage out of them xD

They needed to be reworked, I don't think anyone disagrees with that. However, they're completely useless and a waste of blood web space in their current iteration. Literally the only purpose they realistically serve now is if you wanna see the cool mori visual..that's about it.

Yeah we can nit pick some small and quite minor advantages you gain from them now, however those are so ridiculously situational to near insignificant and I can point out some equivalent loses to counteract them. Not even worth mentioning.
