I just want to know everyones perspectives, I think the devs don't understand anything, survivors related or killers, I guess we'll see what's to come.

I find it funny to think that there's people who actually think devs have a favourite role.

If you are playing solo queue, then it is potentially killer sided. For swf it's survivor sided.

I am being honest here and this is a fact, but the game is survivor sided atm. It used to be worse, but it is in a pretty good state.

Newbies: Killer sided. The basics of Killer are honestly pretty easy to grasp. Chase the survivors, down them, hook them. The basics of Survivor are much less obvious.
Midrange: Survivor sided. The Survivors have simultaneously gotten better at noticing and using windows and pallets mid chase, easily gotten all their meta perks except DS, and have gotten more efficient. Meanwhile as Killer, you haven't gotten nearly as many good perks without shards or money, probably haven't learned how to mind game or moonwalk yet, and honestly are probably getting thrown against Survivors far better than you.
Advanced: Killer sided. At this point the Killer has learned how to better mind game, cut off Survivors, and Counter Loop. This frequently gives the Survivors a really difficult time. The Survivors can start learning the specifics of facing each individual Killer but that's a lot of info to digest and its kinda getting worse.
Competitive: Survivor sided. We've had enough DBD Tournaments to know that if the Survivors are a very good, highly coordinated 4 man SWF... even a really good Nurse player will usually lose to them.

The devs are a bit odd, I have fun making my own perks but it'll never get added lol but I do hope :).

That’s always been strange to me. During evolves life span you never heard anyone say”the devs only listen to hunters” or vice versa. They made the game so why would they want one side to be much better?

to be fair, they've made it very clear they just have a poor grasp of balance in general. The game being sided one way or the other has little to do with the Devs if they dont know what they are doing

The game is not survivor or killer sided. The food chain for this game is Solo<Killer<Swf. So I guess you could say that it's survive with friends sided.

I usually play with a group and I’ve been playing for years but with the amount of bs I’ve seen from killer ping causing unreasonable hits as well as the toxicity most of the killers I’m matched up against I think it’s killer sided. Part of the reason for most of my losses is because a killer camps and tunnels and with the new map reworks loops are quite a bit harder not to mention the unreasonable amount of hooks and how close together they are

I don't think the devs favour either role. However I don't think the game is survivor sided but it is SWF sided.

I think people need to understand that it will always favour one side. no matter what
You cannot perfectly balance a asymetricall game with a ton of variables like this one.
And that's okay. It doesn't need perfect balance

Rich sided
$15 dollars for certain skins that you can't even unlock that you can't even see depending on which role you pick.
