The more impactful incoming changes from the QnA livestream |object/DS nerfs
The next killers that are getting changed (nerfed or buffed idk) are Freddy, demo, Pig, and huntress (addon pass). Someone correct me on this if I got it wrong.
The best part: OoO and DS nerfs
Object of obsession is getting changed: This is the possible change for it - Every time the killer sees your aura, you also see the aura of the killer. Every 45/35/30 seconds, both your aura and the killer's aura are revealed to each other
DS change - Works the same, but will deactivate when repairing a gen, healing, cleansing a totem, sabotaging a hook, and unhooking others.
I think that these changes are great. Object will no longer be able to give survivors the ability to see the killer whenever they want, but it will not be completely useless. It can still give you information on the killer, just not in a way that is unfair and annoying for the killer. This will no longer cripple trapper and hag.
The DS change was also mostly great news. With this change, it becomes an actual anti-tunnel perk.
My greatest concern was about Freddy and Pig. Freddy right now is no OP, but the devs are probably going to nerf him. I personally think that he just needs a good change to make his power have a higher skill cap. I worry that the devs will gut him. I also worry for Pig because I don't want the devs to end up giving her a different kind of RNG like they did with Trapper and then just leave her alone for a long time.
As for Freddy, he needs to have some sort of skill to use his power since right now it is a bit too easy (no, I am not saying Freddy players have no skill). I think he needs to have some sort of skill to the "sleepiness" part of his power.
Overall, they were healthy and much appreciated changes.

Freddy needs just a little bit of tamping down on his overly robust "does ALL the things pretty well" toolbox. I'm thinking some sort of cooldown on his snares to keep him from just plopping them down mindlessly and constantly, or a return to the "he has to hit you to put you to sleep" logic (although this would sorta turn him into an M1 killer until he sleeps people, which I don't like).

I didn't watch the stream. Did they say something about Pig?

"With this change, it becomes an actual anti-tunnel perk."
Not really, because you can still get slugged instead of being picked up so that the timer runs out.
Or, you get chased for 60 seconds so that the timer also ran out. It is more anti-tunneling, but it only benefits the killer-side of "anti-tunneling".

I feel like he should be an m1 killer and weak when chasing a survivor who is awake, that would make him rely more on his powers in a chase and encourage Freddy players to constantly keep survivors asleep which would add a struggle to him that would increase his skill cap. I just reaaaally hope they don't gut him and leave him for dead.

they said that Pig is going to get changes soon, I think in the next chapter for all of them if my memory is accurate.

Thumbs up from me my friend, agree 100

Hm, hm. I see. Did they go into any details?

Not that I remember, I am pretty sure they only said that these killers would get some changes in the future.

Or they could do the pluage thing sprinting and doing actions make you fall asleep and getting hit will put 50%on your timer if you have all your snares down you move slower and take a bit longer to place them and with the sleep timer change it will adjust his to because it is based on how many are asleep

No details, they just said that every Killer will get looked at over time. Next ones are Freddy, Demo and Huntress, they said that Pig is actually in quite a good spot.
But no mentions of any Pig-Changes.

it's at 48:22.
Pig isn't getting any changes, they say her performance is good and that they like her. But they do add that it doesn't mean that changes are out of the question for killer that are already good by their standards.
Freddy, Demo and Huntress are next for changes though. What? Didn't say anything.

With Freddy I'd argue that the way he's now he's not OP, but his counterplay is imbalanced in terms of advantages and disadvantages to one side or the other.

Ah, okay. Thank you for the clarification.

Really? I thought they mentioned them all but just said they were getting small changes eventually. I will have to check the stream.

I mean, they kind of gave a yes-no answer like, we like where she is but maybe we'll change her. It was pretty brief and they went into killers they were definitely going to change some aspect of next immediately.

Cool thanks

If you are slugged, then the slugged survivor still comes out on top since it is better than a hook state. Also, if a survivor is chased for 60 seconds after being unhooked, the other survivors should be working on gens and get a LOT of progress done which hurts the killer.

I am probably most excited by the potential OoO change. Just from a theme and feel perspective, it's weird to give a survivor constant knowledge of the killer's location. A regular interval check in is way more balanced and keeps the flavor while removing an obnoxious SWF tool.

Exactly, I wonder how this will actually look in game.
