DS changes are great but i think it also disabling on healing and unhooking is a little much.

totems? sure players would use DS to cleanse a hex without really being punishable.

gens? Amazing change it was common sense to use DS to finish gens before healing which is one reason why gens get finished too quickly.

sabotaging? sure if they are not trying to recover and are getting in your way why shouldn't they be punished?

but healing and unhooking?

Ummmmmmm did they forget stealth and insta down killers are a thing? unless im mistaken and it's only if you heal another survivor it deactivates but if im not and even if i am killers will allow that before they continue trying to kill a survivor early.

As for unhooking you are sometimes forced to go for unhooks right off the hook yourself and it wasn't that much of a problem. Once the killer has a certain momentum going i don't think survivors will be able to stop it with this change and a part of me feels like that is fair in high level play that often isn't how the game is played by the average survivor.

i would say keep all the other deactivations but remove those two from the list, let them use DS to recover they can't use it for anything else besides as an anti tunnel tool so i feel like this would be fair and would help prevent killers from easily tunneling by allowing saves and healing.

I think unhooking is fine, then you don't have the annoying "someone immediately unhooks with BT, trades hook, then the BT'd unhooked unhooks and then DS's if you stop them from unhooking" thing which was the most aggressive style of DS play there was.

The healing is a bit odd though, if you get unhooked, get to a safe-ish tile, and start using a medkit because you don't realize that the Deathslinger is waiting where you can't hear him, then you get #########. He just waits til the second he sees you on Nurse's and can re-hook you when you didn't even know he was still waiting near you.

Yeah I somewhat agree, the wording on the healing part is a bit confusing so people aren't sure whether it applies to healing yourself/others or if it means being healed by somebody else.

Either way, healing usually happens after an unhook so it seems unfair that it may deactivate DS & this just adds another issue for solo que players. The unhooking portion just discourages people to be altruistic and could be unfair if the killer is camping hard.

Personally, I wish they removed the 60 second timer if they were to add this list since it would at least provide some "power" to the survivor. This wouldn't be OP because an injured survivor NOT DOING any productive is practically helping the killer.

If they were to remove the healing and unhooking part of DS then I suppose the 60 second timer can stay, but that's what I think

"you are sometimes forced to go for unhooks right off the hook yourself" well, if you're going to unhook someone with DS active, that means the Killer is not chasing you at that moment and is chasing someone else, so he's not tunneling.

It's really dumb that one survivor with DS active can unhook another survivor, then you down the unhooker and he still has DS, and not to count of how many people abuse DS just to go for risky saves in front of the Killer's face.
