Like we said, post gameplay of these scenarios seemingly taking place so we can watch it and tell you what you're doing wrong. I want to say you're trolling, but my gut instinct(cool source bruh) is telling me your genuine but very lost.
If you don't post it the gameplay, then don't be surprised if we stop replying to you. That simple, help us help you

Rule of 2.
2 gens, 2 safe unhooks, 2 minute chase.
Should pip you almost every time. If you want to pip you need to stop thinking about escaping asap and actually play the game.
Escaping only grants one or 2 pip point so it really doesn't matter whether you escape or not

I'm a bit late to this thread and I have not read all the responses to your post, which I'm sure are likely to already cover the same things I'm about to say. Quit blaming the game and/or other Players (Killer or Survivor) for your personal failings. I also play Solo Survivor, and I'm currently Rank-4. One day I hope to make it to Rank-1 to unlock that Legendary Survivor achievement. I'm pragmatic and realistic about how long that will take. If it were easy, it wouldn't be worth doing.
I'm not going to get into your claims of how good you were two years ago; that is ancient history as far as I'm concerned (if not utterly fiction). This game is always changing; adapt or move on. If I can get past Rank-12, so can you. This wonderful movie clip can tell you what you should do if you can't:

i know this is bait but anyone who feels this way shouldnt beat themselves up too much or anything, the game can be difficult depending on who you are paired up with and against, and it can take forever to go up a rank. Good luck everyone and have fun!! Rank is just a status thing, not a part of who you are <3!

Im only solo. It’s why I play both killer and survivor. Red ranks aren’t hard to get to lol.

You just proven why you deranked so fast, you dc a lot.
As you said you had a 30 minutes ban but usually you're at a 1 hour ban.
Just play the game or play something else

I mean Devs will most likely never answer a question that can be answered by the community. Also a question that don't rely have answer other than : PLAY.
Because it is how you do it, you play, you learn from your mistakes, get better.
You can also go on youtube and look at videos about perks, characters, items, maps, etc : Otzdarva made a lot of different video that can help you choose the best build and character fit for your playstyle for example (Not Otzdarva on youtube) But there are also video to learn how to lose the killer in a chase or run the killer around the different part of the maps

if you wanted to keep this "between you and the Devs", you shouldnt have posted it right here, in the middle of the general discussions subforum, but actually gone over to the Q&A section / contact them directly (i doubt you'd ever get an answer in both though).
also, nice assumptions on me as a person / my general playstyle.

The question is: how do you get to rank 1? Because either you get carried with friends or you get mental damage to do it solo. Who gets the most out of the 9 meta perks - SWF or Solo? SWF obviously, because they don't need any aura perks, they have voicecom.
Solo is definitely the worst experience, even worse than learning to play nurse.

I don't know how is it possible to play and not rank up. I can't get below red ranks as survivor and i can't even loop, I'm terrible as survivor. I assume you just ######### on hook or dc a lot if you cant rank up, otherwise I just can't understand and you should not want to rank up because you would perform even worse than you do now.
