It's a busted perk that is long overdue for a change; and thankfully it's getting it.
"I shouldn’t have to play a certain way because the killer doesn’t like it" The perk is literally based around stopping a killer from playing a certain way because YOU don't like it so you realise the hypocrisy in that statement right?

I expect DS would be an F tier perk after rework. I'm ok with that. As survivor I found better antitunneling perk. And as killer I don't like to see survivors doing gens right after hook and don't run away.

Honestly they shouldnt... There's absolutely nothing wrong with Undying the way it is. There was nothing wrong with PGTW. There was nothing wrong with Old Ruin. There was nothing wrong with Freddy. There was nothing wrong with old Pyramid Head. Just like there's nothing wrong with DS and Object.
The problem is matchmaking; new players getting paired with experienced players and not knowing how to overcome the odds. DBD is turning into WoW where they baby the new players instead of making them go through the hardships of learning how to actually play and be tactical about their moves. This goes for both killer and survivor.

Actually i love and hate this nerf at the same time.
Love that working on a gen or healing yourself take away the perk but i feel like the sabotage/cleansing totems/heal others part is a bit much. I would just remove those conditions to add a new one : the perk doesn't work on grab, because that was truly the main abuse of the perk + the healed part shouldn't be self-heal only but just deactivate the perk if the survivor go back to healthy state in any way (Inner Strenght, Team heal, Adrenaline, That Steve perk)
This way it really punishes the survivor for being egoistic and doesn't punish them for being altruistic.

We shouldn't celebrate yet. The devs will have to endure a lot of pressure from survivor players who believe it is unfair for them to lose their 60 seconds of invincibility. I just hope they can resist the pressure and not buff it again before release.

Why shouldnt it? If you have time to heal or do gens the Killer isn't going for you so there is no reason to have it still active.
Beside that. Idk how often I got situations were I hooked multiple survivoirs during a short amount of time and all of them had DS and BT and it was impossible to get the killer because of that. And I'm very happy that this will be gone.
Idk if you every played killer but this scenario is very frustrating. If you are a wraith and try to get one kill? All they have to do is to dive bomb hooks and once all 4 have DS active and unhook with BT you lost. They will escape no matter what...
So if you dont like getting tunneled this perk is still great, trust me. But using it to be a dick won't work that well anymore.

maybe you were playing pretty badly before, or just trying to mess with the killer or rub blanket immunity in their face? ds hasn't changed much for anybody bringing it to have a slight protection from being tunneled. making bad decisions (doing a gen right next to the hook you came off of or in their face as examples of bad decisions right after being unhooked) or wanting to rub blanket immunity in the killers' faces is just what you'll have to reconsider now is all. I expect queue times to be shortened by even up around 5 minutes or so shaved off for survivors now thanks to these needed adjustments and the restored willingness of some to play killer more often. So if your matches come much faster you should be thankful.

All i know is I still won't run the perk, and if indeed I am faced with a DS survivor baiting me after being unhooked, you are getting slugged ;)
