New DS counter is the same as the old
DS is not an anti tunnel perk, if you believe that you are just bad at the game GGEZ and all that.
DS is a second chance perk. It's another life state. Its important to understand that as a survivor, to know how to get the most of it. And as a killer, to know how to counter it.
How do you counter DS? You tunnel. Its important to get their DS out of the way as fast as possible because it will make them invincible if the game reaches the EGC
Ok so new DS makes it so you cant be productive amd invincible meaning most survivors, even those who don't understand the true value of DS will likely not waste it on their first hook anymore and keep it until the end game where it makes them invincible. To prevent this the best thing you can do is tunnel to prevent a situation where they are unhooked and the gate is opened/jumping into a locker near the gate.

Why take the ds when I can stop them from being productive and bait in another teammate? Seems like a lot of wasted time to force something you don't have to take. And just personally, it feels more rewarding to kill them all and deny them the chances to use any of those bailout perks.

Why are you letting everygame go to endgame saves and such? To me it sounds more like ur accepting ur defeat everymatch if your that paranoid about a potential ds in endgame (the point of game which you get to AFTER you've been loosing btw)

Well....you did a really good job proving my point? Like you probably wanted me to reply to this saying the obvious "That's obliviously not every match yadadada" but you laid out how i should be countering DS by not being paranoid about it.....so tunneling? But you know you can rearrange that jumbled mess of you being butthurt but you can't change the worst part of your argument.
90% of my games on either side im running the same perks. DS, SC, BT and Head on.
Oh yes, a true survivor main who uses all the ######### that made me stop playing killer in the first place. My observations were from the pov of a survivor. As it yes i do expect to get to the EGC most games and yeah i will have my DS and which point you might as well accept defeat because what are you gonna do? Slug me? Its not often im 60 seconds away from crawling to an exit gate.
I eagerly await what you can reply with lol. Oh and PS you seem like one of the survivors that will benefit from the nerf since you obviously don't know how to use it

Wish that was the case, thanks to match making I haven't seen brown ranks except for the ones paired up with 3 red rank buddies. Starting to miss the days when survivors had gen allergies.

Intentionally tunneling survivors is a good way to let the survivors get to end game.
