"Should you use DS early in the game or should I save it?"

Good killers I go against tend to get rid of DS early especially when you just got unhooked. A couple of times I tried to save my DS for second hook but still get slugged and never got to use it. I get that the situation varies, though what would you guys suggest?

    It depends on the situation but remember it makes you invincible. Its a lot more useful being invincible at the end of the game than the start. If you get hooked with almost anywhere and the gates open, your DS will ensure you escape if unhooked unless you're really really really far or the EGC is really far along, and remembers it slows when you're slugged. At that point it doesn't matter if they slug you, crawl.

    I personally don't run it but the situation you described is why DS/unbreakable is a meta combo.

    Are you saying that the DS timer is slow when slugged? Sorry I am slow lol
