Plague mains
Please I beg for y'all's help. How do I play this killer? My Plague gameplay is atrocious to watch as I can't land vomit to save my life. So, if there are any Plague mains that can give tips that would be great.

Sorry plague mains don't exist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

she's terrible with dedicated servers. Even if you hit - you miss

Dangit, you beat me to it, that was literally my first thought upon reading the thread title.
@TheGannMan There are some problems with Plague that discourage a lot of people from playing as her. Dedicated servers messed things up, and if you're running the game on a sub-optimal platform then you're just kinda screwed, because the engine performance of whatever system you're running the game on affects her vomit, unfortunately, as stated by a player in this thread https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/223147/i-was-wrong-about-plague

I would be a Plague main if the puke velocity was like 10% higher and her BP gain wasn't completely horrible. I can be basically breathing down their neck and still not hit them going around a corner

Don't try and backrev survivors with your vomit, it's rarely ever worth it unless you managed to body-block a survivor. Even with the best add-ons it's unlikely you'll get them infected in one puke. Just chase normally and then puke on them when you hook or down them.
As for builds Idk what the best build for Plague is, I use a really bad build on her (BBQ, Agitation, Enduring, Corrupt). Corrupt is a good perk on her though, infecting the gens that aren't corrupted at the start of a match is usually a good idea. Chase perks in general are nice if you're good at ending chases as an M1 killer and I prefer a more aggressive Plague build than the slowdown type.

I must be a ghost, then. Vommy Mommy is the best!
To OP, employ hit and run in the early game. You need to spread the infection as soon as possible. If they cleanse early, good. Learn the arch of the vomit. A lot of times, you can hit survivors over barriers if you know the angle. Puke in a cone, not in a straight line, unless you're right on that Jane's booty cheeks. Infectious is a fun perk to use, since it applies with her Corrupt. Remember, you're denying them healing, so unless they're potatoes, they WILL gen rush. Try and find the map advantage, either by a three gen, or having a healthy stockpile of corrupted fountains. You really don't want all fountains full, as you lose quite a bit of map pressure if they all clear.

Don't bother trying. Even if you're not screwed by dedicated (survivor scream and coughs but it's perfectly health) and play well, it's up to the survivors if you're gonna do good or not

+1 on this. Was the exact advice I was about to give, because why puke on them & waste time when you can just M1 and puke on them later?

Pretty much this.
Be as aggressive as you can. Survivors need to be sick.

I USED to be very good with Plague but then I stopped playing her and now I’m washed up 😭
She’s not consistent with her vomit due to the fact that sometimes you’ll hit a survivor and they won’t get sick. Her puke is wonky and travels slow (and after playing Deathslinger and having instant ADS and a fast travel time, playing Plague is painful) and her deviousness gain is terrible.
I still love her but she’s so inconsistent. Best advice is to spread the sickness and fast as you can and hope to snowball with her corrupt purge. Very similar playstyle to Oni and Myers. She can be great at slugging.

The only advice im not seeing here is having a good build that works regardless of if they cleanse. I run infectious fright, pop, blood echo, and thano and i try to snowball with CP whenever im in it.
I think plague is a fun killer but because of the RNG of pools of devotion spawns along with having to go all the way to them it makes getting into CP not always good unless you pass by it or go to it after hooking someone. I think she needs a secondary power that allows her to use corrupt pools of devotion from a distance say 20 meters but it halves the duration CP lasts and when doing this it slows her down a lot for a few seconds so the survivor can get some distance.

If you can’t land vomit directly, wait till the chase is at a loop, and then vomit on every pallet and vault there. Force the survivor to use them, even if it means eating a pallet stun.
Abandon the chase if you like at that point. Just let them passively reach the fully broken state while you find others to infect. Use the same method with the other survivors if they’re hard to infect directly with Purge.
Its imperative to get every survivor infected as early, and as quickly as possible at the beginning of the match.

Thanks to everyone for the tips. It’s pretty interesting that dedicated servers really screws her over.

Play her like you would play legion, injure and infect survivors and go to the next target, ruin undying is specially godly on her. I'm not very good at her but it's the only way i get decent results.

Vomit doesn't effect hooks, hatch, and the poles of generators if you didn't already know.

Despite her being one of the tallest Killers, she is actually pretty quiet with Undetectable active. I like running my stealth build (Dark Devotion, Furtive Chase, Nemesis and generally Make Your Choice or BBQ but Tinkerer is good too) on her to get an optimal angle for flanking. I generally run the purple/green effectiveness add ons so once you pop outta nowhere you can fully infect with one fully charged Purge.
