If you are referring to the lovely matchmaking, yeah we all know it's borked and has been for some time.
Possibly a SWF who had been waiting for a while. When that happens the game widens the acceptable rank range...

I just waited like 7 minutes for this match. Literal rank 17 teammates who were dead within like 3 minutes.
Then I got out with my left behind key, which is exactly why I run it.

I just had a match pretty much similar to yours. Vs Ghostface. I did the only 2 gens possible and in that time, 2 of my mates died b/c they sucked in chases/everyone was dive bombing. 3rd one was left slugged so the killer could find me. Could not find me so hooked them. Player didn't struggle and died, and killer found me right as the hatch luckily spawned on me and I was able to get out.
Get to end game lobby, teammates were a 9, 17 and 13. My rank is 1. I shouldn't match up with these people but I do.
Hate the matchmaking system.

I used to be at 1 as survivor but just don’t play it enough anymore.
I played one survivor game yesterday and it was exactly like this one, brown rank teammates, red rank killer. Someone dead within a few minutes of the game starting. An absolute slaughter where my best option again was not saving the last guy on hook and waiting for hatch.
I really have a hard time not just running super selfish builds in solo Q. I used to run the meta all the time when the game actually gave me decent teams to play with and not literal babies.

What made then toxic? The fact that they were better than you? Or did they do something during the match?
Whatever the case, you just got BHVRed. Matchmaking is nonexistent and almost every aspect of this game has some kind of bug that still hasn't been fixed. We just have to deal with it I'm afraid, at least until BHVR finally wake up.

I highly doubt an mmr system will fix this, since now it's supposed to match for pip rank.

they could AT least not match killers with ppl 2 ranks ranks away from them, for example, a green rank cant ever face a red

I'm not saying it is fair, but it is playable. I know because I've bene through the SAME crucible. I started getting mostly Red and Purple Survivors when I hit the green Ranks too. The DEV tell us that their broken matchmaking isn't on, but it has been on since they initiated it. They call it "gathering data in the background" but they also kick in in the foreground frequently too to test whether or not they have gotten it to work yet.
It is playable, and it will make you play better if it doesn't make you quit. That which does not destroy us only makes us stronger. I became a much better Killer because of that crucible. I admit, however, I'm an extremely competitive person and losing games only strengthens my resolve. I realize that kind of mindset, often dubbed sweaty, isn't shared by everyone. In any event, that is the state of the game. You are going to go up against people outside your weight class regularly from now on. You either accept it, adapt, and rise to that challenge, or you find a game you enjoy more. I'm not saying this to be mean; I've just been where you are now.

i actually answered this, but the troll devs deleted it for sure, not the first time, they r only good for that, anyway, ######### it, game is hopeless, the only thing they had to do is fix their bullshit matchmaking system, and instead they will only cry for some posts, pretty useless dev team
