Well, I'm not saying it is good but you can kind of figure out what is happening. Add their Ranks together and divide by four. Most of the time you will find the result of averaging the Survivor's Ranks comes within 1-2 Ranks of your own. Coincidence? Could be but I find it happens really often. There are exceptions of course, and much more pronounced for the people still in the Potato Ranks, but overall once you hit Green and up, the average of the Survivors is almost always within 1-2 Ranks of your own.

As a rank 1 killer I get these games all the time when I play at night. While this is unfair to those players, the more concerning thing is that, to be honest, if you gave me 5 games of red rank players, and 5 games of rank 15 players, I honestly couldn't be sure that I could tell them apart. Most of the time when I do have some rank 15's in my game, they fit right in with the other survivors. Not because they're good, but because the red ranks are just as bad as them and would actually be a far lower rank in a decent ranking system.

Well, they said something about that the mmr is predicting the outcome of a match and learns accordingly.
Lets hope it saw that one coming.
