It's kind of funny how I just got done reading the summary of the dev stream where they said not to whine and complain but instead give civilized feedback, and then this thread is under it. This is why they don't show us this stuff early. You don't even have your hands on the change yet and you are already complaining how it will ruin the game. The majority of players are against it? Oh sorry I didn't realize you spoke for someone other than yourself. If you pay attention you can find many threads from people on both sides talking about how these perks were heavily abused hence the reason why they are changing them. You really just asked someone if you should leave the game! Can you not think for yourself? This is the reason why we can't have nice things cause people on both sides just whine they are losing their crutches and threaten to leave or review bomb the game. If you want to leave over a change like this then good riddance because only a troll would leave over something this stupid.

My point was that a killer is garunteed a kill. And if gotten soon enough, can potentially be 2. And throw in NOED and Rancor, not such a great looking 3 man escape. That was the point.

Ok, sure. If the killer is willing to throw the match just to secure one kill, they will probably get it. Again, nothing to do with DS, so any change to DS won't make any difference to that in the slightest, it's just whataboutism.

This is complete bullshit i'm a survivor main and I think the nerf is completely fair oh boo hoo you can't stab the killer after working on a gen in front of their face also who cares about the nerf most survivors just looked for the killer to either ds them or unbreakable them and if they want value out of their perk then they will not do a gen for the entire minute greatly weakening their team and with the ds nerf people will explore more fun builds and the game would be more fun because of it thank you for coming to my Ted talk

Beautifully made Ted Talk, I’m already looking forward to the next one. Seriously though, I agree with everything you said. I’m honestly excited for the new builds that’ll probably come out for this (maybe not many honestly, but here’s hoping for it). Now that many toxic people won’t use Object Of Obsession, I’m hoping for a rise in other aura reading perks like Alert. If the Developers continue with this trend of buffing/nerfing/reworking perks, we could see a lot of variety in the future.

If you think the changes to ds would make tunneling stronger, you probably don't understand what tunneling is. Hint, it's not just being hooked twice in the same game.

New to the game but starting out as a survivor and then trying out killer had been crazy. Honestly some matches felt like these survivors are the killers...nothing I could do at certain points of the match ...DS...BT...and on top of that flashlights ...body blocks, taunting and gens popping in the back..exit gates being left at 99%..list goes on ..no complaints here but just a small list of what I have seen in the past month of playing as killer. I have started this game just end of December in gamepass ..I do want to play more killer but gotta think twice lol when I am in the lobby ..I still gotta rank up and unlock stuff . I've never disconnected a match though but have been very frustrated lol..rather get butchered with Bubba or electricuted with Doctor then to put up with some of these sweaty taunting teams . Again it's fun as hell .lol..loving this game but all in all whatever the case is...this feels like a cleansing ..much needed cleansing.

Well you are new in this game so you just need to play one or two hours more as Killer and then you can see how Killersided this game is.

It will kill the game for survivors who can't do anything without running those and getting a second chance after second chance. Never used it and it feels great to not rely on ds every time something goes wrong :)

Well survivor q is instand right now. So maybe there is no need to Nerf it. Maybe If they Nerf Corrupt Intervention more people would Play.

OoO is actually good change. Currently SWF get a free info way too easy. And for casual solo survivior OoO is trash perk that will only put you in a trouble.
With the change SWF will not have their Eye of Sauron anymore, which is fair. They already have communication, which already make game easier. Constant info for every killer actions just removes any danger.
And for solo survivor changed OoO will be a good and reliable info rerk that reflect killer's aura when he see you with bbq and nurses calling.
DS is more than antitunneling perk right now. Survivor can do a gen for a whole minute, and killer have no right to touch him. This bullshit hiding under the mask of "protection from tunneling". If you have time to heal, do gens, do totems, you are obviously not tunneled. So you don't really need this protection anymore.
The only survivors unhappy with changes are obviously abusers. Survivors who don't rely on bullshit would not get affected by this changes.

It's either you are a troll or a really bad player. Otherwise I can't see how this perk can mess with your games. Having 3 gens out of like 8 on a huge map blocked for 2 minutes must be so hard to play against.

I go for the unhooker everytime. Guess what doing survivor who was unhooked. Does he trying to hide? Does he trying to run away? Does he trying to heal? Wrong.
They go for a closest gen. Why? Because it's safe for next minute. He not being tunneled, but he under protection. I don't consider it fair.

the ds change shouldn't affect the experience most of the time for most people, sometimes it will obviously, just if you weren't using it to troll you shouldn't have too frequent a bad experience because of it since on bad unhooks you could still make it to a locker sometimes and the rest of the time you'd lose it once you got on a safe enough generator or during the next chase if not. If somebody kept running back intot he killer then the change could encourage hiding better and being more careful. Or quitting and removing a feeder.
object is mainly put to use by those that practice abusing it, even a solo can abuse it on middlewich because of the size and layout of that map but it's usually abused by swf groups to have the object user goad the killer and tie them up in chases or to feed them information about the killers' positions and trap placements. Most people not using it in those ways don't have anything to worry about, you can still "practice the looping" by simply tbagging and clicking at the killer until they chase.

set a timer on siri for 60 seconds it really isn't that deep, sis. objective is the only perk that needs changing because it has been left in that state for years escaping any sort of change and completely debilitates killers like trapper that want to set up in the early game. ds has been nerfed multiple times and is in the healthiest state it has ever been. literally just set a timer and slug the guy who is running at you like an ape off the hook.

Why should someone be protected when they are not being tunnelled? That's the gripe I have with current DS. Just because its current version is healthier than its former versions (which is a claim I agree with) doesn't mean it is healthy now. It isn't. Any perk that has an abusive side to it is not healthy for the game. End of story.
The nerf won't change a single thing for anyone who actually gets tunnelled and anyone saying otherwise is just sad to see the abusive side of DS get kicked in the shins.

Indeed... a very low quality bait. Even thinking about this post topic is absurd and his claim about "the mayority of players are againts the DS change" its just false.
The DS "nerf" its just a minor change that was needed to prevent people from abusing it while repairing. The original purpose of preventing tunneling remains instack. If anyone really think about leaving the game for such minor but fair nuisance, it will be really pitiful.

Survivor main who never uses DS. I'd be fine if they removed it entirely. It's a crutch and is not needed.

Insta heals, the old BNP, toolboxes, and the exhaustion nerfs were VERY good. It was a nerf, but it made the game more balanced. If 4 survivors used the BNPs, they could LITERALLY do 3 gens in less than a minute if they used it properly no matter the killer. Please tell me how MoM was balanced btw since you still seem a bit upset by its nerf. BT was changed for the better in case you didn't read my reasoning in my last comment. You also didn't tell me how BNPs or insta heals were fair, please do I would love to hear your reasoning for that. mobdro
