You wanted feedback from your console player base
Well the new hud is pretty bad. While I like the portraits and hook counters everything else is terrible.
Gen icon is too small and in an awkward position that makes me have to focus out of chase to see it
Potraits are too close to the top. They should be in the bottom since it’s easier to glance at them there
overall it’s just too spread out and makes my eyes hurt when I have to switch my gaze so often

I don't get why they're changing ######### that doesn't need to be changed. I'm pretty confident I can say this ABSOLUTELY NOBODY WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE UI

As a PS4 player, I don't personally mind the new change. Though, I'm used to this kind of layout from playing Final Fantasy 14 since you have to be looking pretty much everywhere all the time. I do agree that it's a little messy though. They could have just kept the portraits in the usual spot. And Gen counter being top centre seems a strange place to plant it. I like the change, but that's just my personal opinion.

There is some good stuff about the UI. Most people seem to like the hook counter and portraits. It's MAINLY the layout that people hate. And I agree. It's atrocious. Takes up so much screen space to tell you so little.

Yeah, I honestly don't know why they did this. I mean, I'll give em props for trying to try something new but the fact that it doesn't seem like they are listening to their playerbase is disappointing.
Though I will say that @Phasmamain is right, the portraits & hook counter is a really nice touch.

It may just be me but I think it's better now way less congested. It is spread out more yes but honestly you shouldn't really have to look at what item you brought in or what perks you have (exception for checking if a cool down for a perk has ended) so more often than not you should be looking more towards the upper part of your screen anyway. Haven't tested killers yet but I feel there side may be more affected as they need to look down more to find scratchmarks but will see how much that is an issue.

Xbox one player here, and I find the new user interface absolutely unsatisfactory. The HUD wasn't broken and it didn't need to be fixed. I'm not against the idea of an updated user interface but they should have at least given us the option to keep the classic UI, it would not have been difficult. Bhvr is seriously working on trying to run us off. I've lost absolute faith that they care about the community.
