Survivor feels slower in the update, if you ask me, this is good for the game
Think about it, the game is meant to be scary and intense, but Survivor felt so easy that it wasn't scary. Survivor mains went in to mess with the killer instead of doing what was needed to win.
The game isn't meant to be about making fun of Killer players for playing badly, its about avoiding the killer and escaping. The slower movement now makes the game more suspenseful. The Devs want to make this a scary game, right? Where's the scare in Survivors always winning too easily?
If you ask me, its about time Survivors were put back in place as victims in the game. The Devs should keep the movement like this, it helps the horror side of it.

Something being mechanically useless isn't scary. It's frustrating. Making a core mechanic like moving frustrating is not a good idea.

DBD isn't scary beyond like the 10 hour mark and there's a good reason survivors aren't called "victims" instead. each side should have a fair shot at completing their objective, not getting destroyed because of ######### hit validation or clunky poorly implemented movement -- neither of which relate to a killer's skill or spook potential.

movement speed of survivors has not changed (or should not have rather, this is DBD after all)
only the animations have changed.
