Gotta Love The New Hitboxes (Clips)

40-45ms in game. I lost apparently once again. :(

I've noticed a definite uptick in weird hits. It's like hit validation was turned off again.

The hitboxes today were horrible.

Almost every time a killer swings at me when I drop a pallet or vault a window it connects, and what’s worse is a trade at a pallet teleports the killer to my side of the pallet.

It's hard to tell what is latency and what isn't anymore.
Demogorgon one is a toss up because the hitbox usually hits you pretty far through the window by default, add a bit of lag in the mix and it isn't uncommon for that to happen.
The thing is are these hits EVERY time or only sometimes is what you need to check; because if they are only happening sometimes then it is lag- it's only hitboxes if even in a KYF with good connections it still does the same thing.A
Also, keep in mind that is also legion in frenzy with extended lunge and already a semi misleading hit box. (The first normal hit though WOW that was greasy)

but bro, im a killer main, and from their pov, i mean the killer, why do u think he would swing that far, i dont do it, cause i would nt think i will get a hit, maybe on his screen you were closer, there is 0 reason why he would even go for a swing, maybe its not a hit box problem maybe its a server stability problem, if we try to identify the problem maybe becomes easier for devs to fix

I'm pretty sure Demo's shred could always get hits like that at windows. The other 3 are pretty insane though.

In my experience getting hit right as you finish a fast vault has always been a thing if the killer was close enough for it. Those pallet hits though were just absolutely horrid.

I noticed the same since today's update, it's absolutely unplayable like that.

I was just thinking the same thing. In all my Clown matches today I wasn’t swinging or lunging until I knew I was pretty much on top of the survivor.

I tested in a KYF and the "Hitboxes" all seemed fine, all the hits were making sense we recorded and they looked okay.
However in public games it goes to crap once the ping goes up. I am not saying it's in people's heads, but something seems to be worse netcode wise now.

I saw the killer getting hits on other survivors while he seemed way too far away. Since I could see it on my end, wouldn't that mean that it's not related to ping, as I'm getting the position of the survivor and the killer from the server at the same time?
