Please Revert HUD + Animations

The new animations (aside from a handful, like the downed hatch escape, recovering) look ridiculous. Movement feels so weird and every survivor looks constipated rather than nervous, or frightened. Injured looks worse, at least before they looked like there were in pain, limping and such. Now, they just look like they've hurt themselves on a night out.

The HUD; need I go on? People complained about it when it first came out on the PTB, the devs were stubborn enough to push it live to "see what console players" think, and even THEY don't like it. Everything is far too spaced out, it feels like they just smeared everything over the screen. Survivor portraits aren't even stylized - they're renders ripped straight from the character select; did they even put any effort into this UI? Skill Checks also hurt to look at; the white is far too bright, the arrow blends right into the circle around the button and it just looks bad.

I will say, hook counter for killers is a nice inclusion, same goes for the hook count for survivors. But aside from that, I hate the new UI so much. It needs to be changed ASAP or reverted. None of this "we've already done it now, we can't go back", because that just shows how tone-deaf these developers really are.

NO ONE wanted this. You pushed for it. Fix your mistakes, Behaviour.

    The movement animations wouldn't be a problem in my opinion if the old style of spinning, turning, going around corners would be the same. It's not just animations that are changed, all the mechanics that we were used to are changed. I understand DBD was different yesterday from how it was in 2016 for example, but this is absolutely atrocious. I would go further and say that the constipated look is fine if the actual hitbox of the survivor, whereas the mechanics itself weren't changed. I doubt they'll care about the feedback tho since the PTB was considered trash but they still pushed it out. I personally don't know for how long I'll continue playing this game... It's a shame and a disappointment cuz I really was looking forward to improving. :/

    I was enjoying the game and never complained about something in the game, till this update...

    I just created this account to post a comment and I'm currently uninstalling the game.

    rather than correcting all those known bugs, they are changing gameplay there is no logic.

    this is my 1st and last comment.
