The latest UI
I play on Xbox. I don't mind the animation changes so much. The new UI needs a change. The only good thing out of it is the survivor icons and I appreciate that. The objective being on the top screen is not intuitive. The hook counter is useless and not even accurate. Survivor DCs and it counts as 3 hooks. But still can de-pip when the rest just lets the entity take them prematurely. AT LEAST move the objective where the killer power is. Idk. Have the shine of the new UI but the widget locations of the old.
I saw two posts on this forum where people got motion sickness.

Yeah as a fellow console player the info is just wayyyy too spread out especially since i have a good sized TV
Like most games im literally only looking at the gen icon once or twice that is how out of the way it is and survivors are getting healed and picked up without me noticing since it is so out of the way.
This rarely happened with the old UI because i could keep track of all the important info easily since i just had to glance at the corner of my screen and since i had some attention diverted to it at most times i rarely missed status changes to survivors.
Whoever designed this UI had no idea what they were doing or at least had no idea what UI design fit this game.

Yes. Info is spread out all over the screen. Also I do notice that the status icons is hard to notice in the peripheral vision. That's a good point too.

Good points. Especially on the status icons where I, too, don't notice the change in status. Only because it is not in peripheral vision when checking other important info, like how many gens are left. Because it is not in the general location of the screen; but spread out to blindspots of your eye.
