Thank you BHVR (We did it, guys!)
I just saw the communication from BHVR stating that they've heard our voices and are going to address the issue. Although it took way longer than it should have, I'm really happy that the DBD team at BHVR decided to communicate with us that they're looking at the issue. Thank you BHVR. For those that joined in letting your voices be heard, thanks to you as well! My reason for protesting was just to have them address the issue and they now have so I'll be returning to the game and I hope others will as well (Although it still unplayable :/).

I just hope we get the fixes soon. If you thought the game was unplayable as it was afew days ago. It's practically doubled with the new update.

They always will hear, they just may not always listen

Mmmmi'd leave the celebration in the oven a little longer before you go busting it out.
16 -
Simping achieved 10/10

We did what?
I mean....everything is still busted, it takes time to do anything IF they do anything. I'll believe it when I see it.
This is good that they actually responded a little though, if they did this more frequently that would be nice. Honestly they should put out one tweet saying what information has reached them every day.
It shouldn't be a one time thing done as damage control after they fubar everything when they were told in the PTB it was going to be a problem, ignored it, did the thing and everyone hates it and then going "we are TOTALLY listening"
If they were listening now why were they not the FIRST time?!

Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.

Don't celebrate yet. Wait until it's actually fixed before breaking out the champagne

It ain't midnight during new years yet.
All we can do is wait if they'll achieve what we all wanted.

The hitboxes had to be fixed for they are obviusly busted right now, the HUD and the animations lets see what we actually achieved because those 2 things werent unintentional bugs (like the hitboxes), they were put in the game and had development costs.

WHOOOOO we did it boys! We reverted a broken game back to a even more broken game! 😎

All I wanted was some form of acknowledgment and commitment to fixing the issues. They did that. If the updates are subpar I'll raise my voice again and I hope you all do too. Until then I'mma just chill though.

Just be thankful you can play the game for longer than the poor people who get headaches and nausea from motion sickness

I don't believe they'll revert it the UI or movement. They're going to fix the hitboxes and that's it.
I hope I'm wrong.

They said they are going to review changes made to the UI. Meaning they are thinking about maybe changing something if they feel like it.

"Waaaa Waaa devs broke the game they don't even communicate to us".
Devs communicate that they've heard the feedback and will be working on it.
seconds later...
"Waaaaa Waaaa they still don't care about us, the game is still broken".
1 -
Maybe if they took all the feedback that people have during the PTB maybe most people wouldn't complain.
You know where the door is. Bye
14 -
Reminder that they also "heard the feedback" from the PTB and nothing changed soooo.. don't count your chickens before they've hatched.
11 -
As if they would have had enough time to undo/redo the changes they've made in time for release.
Keep crying. You know where the craddle is.

Exactly.
Trust, Communication, Action.
Action begets Trust, and Trust makes communication valid, and communication confirms action.

This time they should show us the changes they are going to make to the UI again before releasing it last second.
we would be able to provide more feedback on if it's good and what else it might need, that is why this UI is so horribly designed they did it without any feedback.

Right? Just like they did with the upcoming OoO change. How much harder would it have been to just post this as a screenshot as well?
7 -
Yeah, cause someone behind a screen can really walk over you

Don't worry, unlike you, I have thick skin and don't break easily. Keep
cryingtrying though.0 -
I agree with that. Can't ######### talk and expect everyone just to ignore you. I even brought up issues some people were having with the game. Headaches, Nausea due to motion sickness but he was like nah I don't care
1 -
Exactly. Everything they are hearing now is the exact same feedback they were getting in the PTB and they ignored it. This could have been easily avoided. I’m hopeful that this is a wake-up call for the devs and they will make the changes/fixes being asked for by the community.

Fair I guess, I haven't tried it yet (at work, yay) but I personally don't see how we can get headaches from looking in like 3 spots
1 -
You are exactly part of the problem with what is wrong with this community.
The developers aren't perfect and no one is trying to convince anyone of that. I address the players who AFTER the devs have stated on twitter on the forums and even on discord that they HEAR the feedback. Yet, somehow you take issue with that? Is it because you are one of them? I don't understand.
It's like when your car breaks down and you take it to the mechanic, and they tell you they see what the issues are, do you also yell at them and call them names for not fixing your car in the time that you are entitled to? No. Any reasonable person wouldn't.
Stop bringing up Headaches and Nausea when you know that isn't what I was talking about. YOU brought that up.
1 -
I don't know the reason behind them getting nausea or headaches but I've read a couple posts where some people gotten bad motion sickness and headaches so severe that they had to turn the game off

Weird, I guess I can't say anything because I'm not like a... headache look after person, but it's odd to me

Your on a message board...no one walks over anyone on the "internet"

If you're going to refer to something I said at least have the decency to quote me. As I told the other person who took it literally I'll say the same thing to you.
It's a figure of speech.

It's 6 spots. And if you're on a small screen you're good, but I have a large tv. However I'm getting motion sickness not headaches
2 -
Did what? We did literally nothing. They didn't apologize, they didn't make any commitments and you guys are eating it up.
They said they "heard feedback"; just like they "heard feedback" did during the Q&A. No where did they apologize. No where did they say they were changing the HUD.
"We've heard you loud and clear!
Our team is working to find some solutions to the feedback on the latest update.
We're focusing on fixing bugs (Fixing BUGS yay! Same issue we deal with every patch)
Fixing Issues with hitboxes (They've been broken for a long time now; don't hold your breath)
We are reviewing some elements of the changes in the HUD (UI) and the survivor movement. (No commitment to actually changing anything.)
1 -
All I asked for was an acknowledgment. I mean itd be extremely hypocritical at this point to keep pressing the issue. lol

What affects change... player count and finances. If player count (length of play time as well) dropped drastically and less people purchased the battle pass out of frustration... it would alarm the "higher ups."
Now... we have to give them a chance on their first hotfix patch (a week I'd assume)... before complaining anymore.

Yeah, they "heard" us. They saw people stopped playing the game and the complaints where insurmountable, so they are trying damage control. Instead of working with the community and actually listening.
