Can someone explain why you derank because someone was trying to play the game at waffle house and didn't load into the game?

  in the past that was just a visual bug and when you load into the next lobby you should still be at the same rank/pip. But I have yet to have someone DC at the load screen after this current patch.

  No longer visual bug, not like rank matters in this game though, gonna search as a rank 1 killer and play 3 rank 20 survivors
