Im... Well i'm disappointed.
I'm quite a new player to DBD, atleast that's what I think. I joined back in August 2020, when it was on sale, meaning during the end of the silent hill event, and I really thought that this game was going to be a game that was very special, and it was, atleast before the halloween event.
The Halloween event WAS going to be my "first" event, but it ended being completely different than any other event that happened in the past, no fun, just cosmetics and some more bloodpoints.
Next was the Christmas event which I was very, VERY excited for since I've heard that people really liked that one. Nope. No winter event for me, sadly.
Now it's the Lunar New Year event and again, i'm not really surprised at this point. Nothing special, just cosmetics and some free bloodpoints.
I'm so disappointed that i'm probably never going to get to experience a GOOD event like the past ones.
I'm just hoping that we get a summer event or the anniversary event. And please BHVR, bring back the old way of doing events.

Me too, mate, me too. Howling Grounds and Moonrise were so good, and now... Well, it is sad. I just want my Golden Coins back :(

Yeah,you started playing at the worst time possible,regarding event.
They did say (after the last halloween event) that they now focus on their anniversary and halloween events,so there might be hope for those.

The anniversary event is the best. The cakes are the best time to level up your characters you get a ridiculous amount of bloodpoints. I just recently used my last ones that Hag and legion had. I only like bloodpoints and item events. The only thing I dislike is the codes that just seems petty to me especially the limited time ones or ones you have to watch streams or go to twitter for as my time is limited.

They did say the events would just be as you described for the most part apart from the anniversary and halloween ones as they are planning larger ones for these two.

Thats what all of my friends who persuaded me to get the game said, can't go one day without hearing them say "lmao remember the (something) event?"

I haven't even been playing for a year yet (couple weeks away) but the anniversary is why almost all my killers are P3. As for survivors they are all P1 except my top 3 Nancy, Zarina, and Kate they are P3. This next anniversary should put me in great position I would think to top everyone off. just be patient and hope the cakes work.

At least we could have extra bloodpoints, theres nothing special anymore about these "special" themed events.

I would say that they started playing this game at the worst time possible, not only regarding the events. (Binding of Kin chapter, this mid-chapter...)
