Better performance and network connection

This patch might be a disaster but has any of you noticed a better performance in the game and less lag? Because now i can play hag properly like I used to before dedicated servers and don't get the same FPS drops that i used to get on many situations. Is it just me?

I also noticed this back in PTB, the game felt much better and smoother especially with new animations, but hitboxes spoil everything

Umm, no. There seems to be a lot of server lag and people are randomly losing connectivity.

The engine was updated so that might affect some people, I haven't noticed any performance changes

As i post this i just jump into a Hag game where i can't set traps, they get canceled mid animation so i am a 110 m1 killer... I guess my bad for trying to find something positive out of all of this mess.

I was going to make a post about performance on PC, on almost every map I get a solid 144 FPS (some dips to 100) that’s with everything at ultra including post pros that was bugged and used to cost me around 40 FPS for no reasons. That’s the only positive of the patch IMO l.

    No, no I haven't, unfortunately.

I usually like to give BHVR the benefit of the doubt, but I've been getting killers who hit me 3 models further than usual, even with the janky attack animation problems I have. The game just isn't playable for me. Maybe a hotfix will help the networking issues but I don't even want to test it until I see uploaders posting decent videos.

Like I'm sorry but I can't play this game anymore, it's a complete disaster. I was looking forward to the changes despite my apprehension towards the HUD, I like the upgraded graphics and most of the animation changes, but if I'm getting hit with a few Jane-sized hitboxes in between runs, how am I supposed to get better? How am I supposed to learn? There's no learning from that.

I sincerely hope no one gives any more money to this game until this stuff is fixed. But sadly, probably several blind-bought the Pass before even looking at what it gave out.

No. I decided to try out the update, the first game I got frame drops from the firecracker hooks on a PS5. Why does this launch PS3 looking game perform like it's current day Crysis?

I noticed better ping on the first day. Hits (as survivor) seemed more fair than usual too. Played killer and didn’t seem like hits were unfair either. This is on Switch btw.

But not sure what they did, the network connection and hit detection is worse today, worse than usual even, which was already pretty bad for me. Now it’s really unplayable.
