Bond !!
Why does this perk exist, it gives scummy survivors a way to rat you out to the killer iv had multiple times when survivor will look for me so I can't escape or do gens as last 2 thanks to bond and because of it killer will leave that person to kill me and most times give that survivor the hatch or let them go through the gate, its so bs and just down right disgusting perk.
Should have counter perk available so u don't have to deal with this it frustrating
It should be removed or allow teammates the ability not to be read by these trashy teammates who only fun in game is to ruin others.
Has anyone else experience this and if so how do you deal with this?

Bond can be a force for good or evil...it can also protect you. Embrace the Bond and use it...you will never have other survivors lead chases to you anymore as you will see it coming.
And no I haven't experienced that...99% of the randos I come across aren't out to get me. What the hell are you doing?

If somebody's bringing a chase to you, you have to out-distance the survivor being chased, get a head start and move away from the area. The easiest way to do this is to unironically use bond, empathy is also good for this. In my experience it's very rare for survivors to sandbag, it just so happens that the area you're in is where they need to be.
Also this might seem obvious, but you need to run away from the killer, don't crouch in a corner, don't hide behind your gen, get distance. If what you said is true and you've been sandbagged several time without any way to escape it's because you're standing still and letting the killer get an easy first hit.
I'm not saying this to belittle you, nor am I trying to insinuate that you're bad at the game. Please understand.

Bond is a great perk. If some people choose to use it to sandbag their team mates then blame the player not the perk.

Good advice - a lot of survivors make this mistake of trying to hide even when the killer is almost on top of them. Then they give the killer a free hit and probably an easy follow up hit as they waste their speed burst running into a wall. If the killer is getting uncomfortably close start running, especially if they have a chainsaw.

Bond is a great perk, you just got sandbagged. Big difference, especially since the "sandbag" part of that is totally unreliant on Bond.
Edit: That sounded a bit nasty, I didn't mean it that way. My point is that Bond is fine, and even if it didn't exist it's not like sandbagging is very hard to begin with, so how about we keep the extremely useful perk instead of removing it to make arseholes take an extra brain cell to do their thing?

I would do this is the other survivor is just creeping around the edge of the map or camping the hatch instead of doing the last gen while i run the killer.

It’s trashy, and I’ve experienced it as well.
It’s also why I almost never take off Bond + Open Handed myself, so that I can get a huge heads up if a potential chase is being lead in my direction, and so I can get out of there quick smart.

Sad....
I've said it before and I'll say it again....survivors are the best killers in this game.....

Bond is actually a really good perk but I never use it to be a jerk. Bond is 1 of my must have perks. I can see what's going on and join up on gens or also see who is the boosted teammate/s. Some people are trash though and I believe they wake up trying to ruin someone's day. I am not one of "those" Bond users.

I think most Bond users run it to try and not sandbag. The problem being sometimes you have to go towards them and hope they run.

Bond if used correctly (and not scummy as you said) is one of the most powerful solo survivor perks available. As a solo I almost always use it. And yes at times this does happen. Sk get a good head start and preferably to an undesirable area for the killer to chase you ks my advice

Bond is very useful. When I run the Killer, it helps me to prevent running to my teammates who work on a generator. Or when I need a heal, I see where people are and I can join the ones repairing a generator (I help finishing it and they heal me after).
I started to use it after I sandbagged by accident one of my teammates. By chance, I was able to block the Killer for a few seconds to let them getting distance. I felt so bad. The map was Ormond, I was going to take the door to the main building but I didn't see my teammate being chased by the Killer and I was on their way. With Bound, I know if I have to move to let them pass or if it's fine and I can go this way.
