Trapper Achievement
Im on pc just playing trapper, and got six traps last game, but the progress for my achievement is not going up, do you guys know if this is a steam issue or an issue with the game.

Try relogging into steam and see what it shows. Likely just lag with the servers.

It´s been years since I done this one, but I think I recall what the issue is.
Survivors stepping on your traps don´t always count. It´s the same with the DBD stats tracker page. I think what counts are:
-Survivors stepping in a trap in chase , ending the chase
-Survivors getting grabbed out of traps (may not count if Survivor stepped on it outside of chase)

Isn't it grab the survivor out of the trap? I'm unsure how it works tbh.

Yes, it is.
Pretty sure no matter what you still have to grab them out of the trap.

This would explain so mutch. Just yesterday I had a DC match and I memed with the remaining Survivors. They stepped in traps 20+ times but on the stats page I got like +1 catches. Would also explain why after a long day of Trapper games rocking STBFL and greeding every token you barely get any registered catches.

Yeah I dunno about specifics beyond that but I know when I did it they all had to be grabs. Dunno about chases or whatnot but they seemed to always count so long as I grabbed.

Catch survivor in trap you need to grab them out of the trap, won't count if they escape trap or you down them first at the trap. Doesn't matter if in chase or not. It's a poorly worded achievement because you'd think survivor stepping in trap or downing them while they're trapped would count as "catching them in trap."
