Gathering faces as Leatherface.
For some reason, i can't get a Survivorface - Jake. I already have Dwight, Meg, Claudette faces for a long time, but couldn't get Jake, because nobody plays him. Recently i started dodging lobbies until i see Jake. I tunnel them, lightly and i think I already sacrificed like 30 Jakes in 4 days of hunting and still don't have the mask. Can it be bugged or something?
Counting only Hook sacrifices.

Jake was the hardest out of the four faces, even when I did the same thing as you (dodging until I came across a Jake). I don't thiink it's bugged, but it does take ages.

I've had the other 3 for months. Meg first, then Claudette, then Dwight all in relatively short succession. It took so long to get Jake I thought it was bugged. But you will get it and it will be as bland as the rest lol.

OP, it's cool that you posted this since I am doing the same challenge now. I already have Meg, and I am missing the other three. Since I am now ranked pretty low due to the recent reset, I have had a good time playing some chill games while seeking out Claudette, Dwight and Jake in the lobbies.
The only that sucks it that there's no counter available to let you know how many more sacrifices you need to get the face. I swear I have taken out enough Claudettes, but still nothing. *shrug*

Sacrifice Meg, Claudette, Jake, and Dwight to the entity 25 times EACH as Leatherface.
Sadly, there's no tracker that tells you how far along you are with each one.

No, no. You get Smartface for 25 Claudettes. Survivorface for 25 Jakes, etc.
There just isn't any way to know how many you have already gotten until it appears in your cosmetics.

I worded it weird I apologize. I meant like if I finish a match and it happens to be my 25th meg I get that face. So it could theoretically happen any match as leatherface.

Correct. This is going to vary based on random luck of what Survivors you face, and which ones you can hook versus which ones escape. It has to be sacrifices, too. Moris and such do not count.

Jake is a rare survivor. You would have to make lobbies see if you get any if not try again. However the best mask is the claudette one imo.

There's a movement of very vocal people trying to get that one removed from the game.

If anything they should keep adding every survivor that would be cool. But I'm sure they can't due to licensing issues.

I feel like removing it would be more discriminatory. It is the original survivors. Obviously the ethnicity of the survivors wasn't scrutinized.

Jake was the last one I got, mostly due to people not playing him as much I figure. It gets harder to obtain with more survivors coming out but if you keep playing Bubba you'll eventually get it.

I'm in the same situation as you, I still don't know if it's better to stay at low, mid or high ranks to find more jakes, I might start lobby dodging until I see one as well 🙄
They need to add a ######### counter to those masks, ffs, I hate being in the dark about how many more I need

I doubt that you sacrificed 30 Jakes in 4 days. Jake is quite a rare Character, having even 30 Jakes in your lobbies sounds like a miracle.
Jake is simply the hardest face to get, because not many people are playing him. When switching in Lobby was possible, I always switched to Leatherface when a Jake was in the lobby, since this is gone, it has become a bit harder as well.
My best guess would be to play more Leatherface when a Jake-Cosmetic comes out or at the latest, when he is featured in the Archives.
(My last Jake was an Object-User I facecamped with Leatherface... At least I got it in style, lol)

I can assure you there are people that very much want that mask removed from the game entirely. There have been threads on this very forum about it, and people that have come at the devs DIRECTLY telling them to remove it.

I've only see one (which wasn't advocating for its outright removal) but I'm sure there are others.
I don't see why people have to use it for racist purposes in the first place. It's bad enough to have those views but why try and bring it into a video game. Overall I think it's a bit stupid, but so is removing smartface for many reasons.

People do, I've had it happen to me in a match before, ofc I reported them but I checked their account a couple weeks later and there were no vac bans

No I reported them for using racist slurs and having a racist screen name on steam, they also used racial slurs about bubba and claudette because they had smart face on

That one gave me trouble too. It was a pain lobby-dodging trying to get those those survivors in the lobby 2 years ago. Don't even want to imagine what it's like now with 24 of them in the game.
