Worst Add On?

What's the worst add on for a killer in your opinion?

My most hated is the Scrapped Tape on the Doctor. Not only is it useless, but it looks so much like a useful one, that i've accidently put it on when quickly changing my loadout.

pungent vial , i dont need to see the damn lockers, i know where they are, and can see them when I'm empty anyways, the worse part is that they often block the paths to the addons that i do want so i have a large pile of absolutely useless addons that i've wasted bp on , the only slight use they have is giving you a good idea of exactly how far 36 meters is.

    I don't like the Nurse's Plaid Flannel.

It's distracting during a chase, and too expensive/rare to use for practicing the Nurse with other add-ons. It would be nice to use the Plaid Flannel to see how other add-ons affect her Blink range, move-speed, charge rate, et cetra, if it weren't so rare and valuable to waste on such a thing.

The Trapper's padded jaws. It has no upsides whatsoever other than the bloodpoint bonus (which is still capped at 8000) and you don't hurt survivors that step in them at all.

I'll throw in Wraith's Blind Warrior - Mud. 60 seconds of Blindness for the one that was hit means simply nothing.

This is why I think that Blindness should also hinder the Survovr's ability to differentiate between hex and dull totems.

Every Nurse add-on except for "Bad Man Keepsake" (tooth) and "Pocket Watch". Without the tooth charging the blink takes too long and all other add-ons mess up my timing.

How often do you max out Deviousness with Trapper anyway? Trapper is the only killer whose power depends on survivors being stupid. I might have the wrong spots for trapping, but if three people step in my traps that's a lot.

Quite the idea :) Or make another type of Blindness making pallets invisible for the duration, that would be something!

Any of the Nurse add-ons. Not only is it better to play default Nurse so you can get accustom to her blinks but I play on PS4 and I don't want to have a brain aneurysm trying to figure out what the hell my fps wants from me.

You thought 60 seconds was bad, try 30 seconds.

Meh that would be "oh no no lights? Welp its still a totem to prevent NOED"

Maybe a vignette effect that darkens the outer edges of the Survivors' view so they have less peripherals to work with?

Used to be scarred hand. Now my guess would be either one of the many speed limiters or myers mirrors, since you can infinite him around everything.

that would be cool. You don't notice till you go up to the totem, like really close.
I already love Hex: The Third Seal

What's funny is I would actually put a lot of ultra-rares on the worst list. They've given so many of them such downsides that they just aren't worth the bloodpoints imo, or some other ones that don't have a terrible downside but just aren't even good enough to be called an "ultra-rare" and should even be in the killers base kit. This fits for a lot of the newer killers.

The most useless add-ons have to be all the Nurse's purple add-ons that remove a blink. After that, Huntress's Pungent Fiale.

People say Trapper's Padded Jaws or Billy/LF Speed Limiter, but those are BP add-ons so they aren't entirely useless. As Trapper you can mess with them by using PJ with Bloody Coil or Honing Stone, and as Billy/LF you can use anything that inflict Exposed to make your chainsaws work normally.

Pungent Vial... i had forgotten about that... You kinda already see the locker locations anyways, when you're out.

    By killer:
    -Trapper's C Padded Jaws
-Wraith's UC "Blind Warrior" - Mud, C "The Beast" - Soot
-Hillbilly's UC Grisly Chain, UC Speed Limiter, C Chainsaw File
-Every Nurse add-on OTHER THAN VR Campbell's Last Breath, R Ataxic Respiration, R Fragile Wheeze, UC Catatonic Boy's Treasure, UC Dark Cincture, and all the Common add-ons
-Huntress' UR Iridescent Head, VR Glowing Concoction, R Pungent Fiale, C Amanita Toxin
-Myers' UR Judith's Tombstone, VR Lock of Hair, VR Scratched Mirror, VR Vanity Mirror, R Hair Bow, R Mirror Shard, UC Glass Fragment, UC Reflective Fragment, C Blond Hair
-All of Hag's add-ons are good
-Leatherface's UC Grisly Chain, UC Speed Limiter
-Doctor's UC Scrapped Tape, C Maple Knight
-Freddy's UR Red Paint Brush, UC Cat Block
-Pig's UR Amanda's Letter, VR Amanda's Secret, UC Face Mask
    -Clown's UC Kerosene Can
    -Spirit's UR Mother-Daughter Ring

At least, those are the contenders, as far as I can see.

It does have some use on Lery's and Game, but generally speaking once you learn how tiles are arranged you know where lockers are which is why it becomes so useless. IMO they should just make it a permanent thing once you have less than 50% hatchets.

This should be a powerful as hell add-on. But it's not. And it's not because virtually EVERY add-on that affects Jigsaw boxes all are terrible.

Padded Jaws, Speed Limiter, Scarred Hand, The Beast.

Ruining your own main power for a minor bloodpoint gain, yay!... super smart idea

I never found a use for the one that makes the Wraith have a terror radius when cloaked. It's fine until you hit the first couple of survivors since they don't expect a Wraith, but after that I see no advantage to running it and it makes it impossible to sneak up on survivors from that point on.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I really don't get it.

Scarred Hand, Waterlogged Shoe, Mint Rag. These are very wonky and fairly debilitating addons for a Hag.

Sticking a cooldown on in the primary power of 15 seconds is a poor choice, plus you have to have further awareness of your traps and everyone else’s location to truly make this work perfectly. If you can do this, you are clearly awesome. It just seems novelty, but can be fun.

Anything that removes her teleport from an already slower killer is just not a good idea. Despite the “benefits”, teleporting is what makes a hag who she is.

Oh, and the scratched mirror is fun for Myers. Jumpscare Myers in the right setting is an absolute joy to play.

I've seen that add on used for terror radius wraith builds.

The perk build would be somehting like::
Distressing, Unnerving presence, hex Ruin, Hex Huntress' lullaby

You wont be sneakign up on people, but wraith doesn't do that that much at high levels of play anyways. What you do is get them running while you are invisible, chase and catchup while cloaked, once you catch up, body block them while uncloaking. Get hit, cloak again, repeat.
