Hatch Solution (This is my final one)

I had a recent game where I had a hatch stand off and the killer did something outstanding. Usually whoever makes the first move will usually lose the the stand off but this was different, instead the killer made the first move on me. However instead of me escaping, I was unable to move or interact with anything for the first 3 seconds of me being in dying state which would've led me to my death if the killer wouldn't have kindly dropped me back on the hatch. This gave me a light bulb in my head that gave me a great idea for a hatch change!
The killer can grab survivors, break pallets, open lockers, break generators, hook survivors, and pick up survivors while recovering from a attack.
What do you guys think?
Hatch Solution:
Whenever a survivor enters dying state at anytime, they will be unable to move, recover, and interact with anything for 5 seconds. The killer can grab survivors, break pallets, open lockers, break generators, hook survivors, and pick up survivors while recovering from a attack.
How does this work?
Since you cannot do anything for 5 seconds when in dying state, you are unable to escape through the hatch and the killer will recover faster than you will. Basically the survivor will have to do generators or get to the hatch first without the killer being directly behind them. If the take a hit and jump in the hatch, the killer can still grab you even through they have the attack recovery period. What do you guys think?

I'd love to see the dying state suggestion play tested and that killers can pick up survivors while recovering from an attack.
I think the rest of the options while recovering from an attack might be too much.
