Flashlighting myself as a survivor

in Bug Reporting

I brought an uncommon flashlight into the game with the Long life battery and an intense halogen bulb.

The killer was the clown, he killed a feng ming infront of me then picked them up, so i jumped out for the blind save. I GOT BLINDED, when i could see again the feng ming was on the floor as if the clown let go of her and then he stabbed me. He musn't of been stunned at all because he hit me not the feng, that being said i wouldn't of got the flashlight save either because the feng was slugged. Its only happened to me once but i havent taken a flashlight in game with me for a while. Now im scared to run flash light. i was going to ask the clown if anything weird happened on their end but they were console.

please just fix the bugs, i have only just started playing early last month and its just getting worse

    I have managed to record it happeneing. it isnt the same game as the one from the actual post but its still the same bug, just delayed a while

    I'm not sure what you think is a bug here, I've watched the video and you can hear someone drop a firecracker - these do blind anyone, not just killers...so it's normal for you to be blinded by that.

    Well thats nice to know, i didnt know they did that because i have thrown them on the floor before and it did nothing except make a loud noise. Does it blind everyone but yourself? The description doesn't say that survivors are blinded too, thats why i am probably so confused. I just associate being blinded with the killer. I watched the video again and i can hear something faint in the background so you must be right. my only complaint would then be that i got blinded behind a rock and that i wasnt in direct line of sight :/

    i know the zarina player wasnt carrying firecrackers so it wasnt her. I'll make sure to keep an eye out for that in the future

    If you're looking in the direction of the firecracker (this one seemed to be dropped at the edge of your screen) you will get blinded, even if you're the one that dropped the firecracker. They're especially available right now due to the Lunar New Year.
