How hard is it to make simple things basekit?
For Trapper it's not to hard to give him Trapper Bag as basekit, which he should have had at the start since the game first came out. And Wraith could have at least Yellow Windstorm basekit, with the recent buffs they've given him adding that would undoubtedly put the icing on the cake of Wraith not being bad anymore. I know what you're probably thinking, they probably haven't done it yet because they want to see what their statistics will be like for about a year and then do it once they have enough data. Because according to the STATISTICS Billy was overperforming, so that's why he needed a massive rework even though his add ons were always the problem not the killer itself. We probably aren't gonna be getting anymore buffs for Trapper or Wraith anytime soon, since the devs basically have their roadmap planned out.
Demogorgon needs a whole lot of his add ons touched upon for how incredibly bad they are, and hopefully Rat Liver and Rat Tail basekit. I'm expecting the Freddy nerf to make him balanced and no longer boring, hopefully they bring back the dream beam mechanic. A lot of people want him to be slowed down after placing snares, and I wouldn't be surprised if his slowdown add ons get permanently gutted for good. Huntress will hopefully not get nerfed in some way, because once again Iridescent Head is the most problematic add on for her and still hasn't been changed for a good three years. And with what they did to Clown, she definitely won't have exhaustion add ons anymore but killers don't need them in order to be good. As to what we can expect after killers reworks for Myers, Pig, and Legion are most definitely wanted by a large vocal part of the community, and can only be hopeful that Plague gets some quality of life improvements at some point or a potential rework if that's not enough. Trapper and Wraith being the first two original killers, will once again have to be sitting in the basement only wondering when they get their proper buffs.

I know right? I mean how hard is it to give survivors DS, Kindred, Bond, Borrowed Time and Unbreakable as Basekit. These are necessary to bridge the gap between SWF and prevent Tunneling, Camping and Slugging, but BHVR won't do it.

Trapper Bag (or sack) for Trapper and atleast Yellow Windstorm for Wraith are almost essential to not be miserable when playing either of those two
Basekit DS, Unbreakable, Kindred, Bond, Borrowed Time is the fastest way to kill this game without just straight up shutting down all the servers

So let me get this one straight:
You're seriously comparing the ability to carry two bear traps and a moderate movement speed bonus when cloaked as base-kit to the abilities of recovering at greater speed, picking yourself up once, stunning the killer for 5 seconds, seeing their and survivors' auras when hooked and going for unsafe unhooks without having to worry about your protégé going down as base-kit?
This is absolutely ludicrous.

I mean I want Kindred basekit as survivor, so I don't need to waste the perk slot for it when playing solo. But the devs keep ignoring that feedback so much

It’s weird. Adding things like rat liver, trapper bag and windstorm base would make these killers much less frustrating to play and make them better with a simple number tweak and addon change it’s confusing

The devs seem incredibly resistant to some of the simplest, no brainer buffs. There's literally no reason, in all the times they've touched up Trapper, they couldn't make it so he carries two traps by default. Freddy, Hag, and Pig carry all of their traps. Freddy and Hag being two of the strongest killers in the game. They literally cannot run out of traps, they always recycle them.
It would be like if Bubba and Billy needed to constantly search the map for gasoline to power their chainsaws. And they'd still be much better than Trapper.

Playing trapper without the bag is akin to playing survivor but without sprint.

It wouldn't be hard for them to do at all, and they could do things like the Trapper bag and windstorm changes in literally minutes, but they're so slow at doing everything else like map reworks, bug fixes, and the unnecessary changes like the HUD and animations that they have no time to even think about QoL changes (You know, the kind of changes that would actually make people happy?) We get maybe 1 or 2 QoL improvements a year it's so annoying

I agree with your OP but I disagree with Kindred as base-kit. I would rather devs give us more information in the HUD. Survivor icons should indicate what they're doing at all times. If someone is in a chase, they should have a running icon. If someone is on a gen, they should have a gen repair icon, if someone is doing nothing, then they have the basic icon and if they're healing, a healing icon. There should also be a colored ring around a survivors portrait whenever someones hooked. The colors should change the closer one is to the hooked person, which will allow survivors know who is going for the save.
Kindred is too much info to not be a perk. I know camping sucks, but sometimes, it's the right choice. I am also not a fan of survivors being able to see trap killers place their traps for free.
In order to fix early game camping and tunneling, they really just need to stop being lazy and implement teleporting hooks when there are still 3 or more gens left. I don't understand why they haven't done this yet. With the release of Pyramid head, you'd think it would be a no brainer to implement it not too long after.
Sorry for going off on a tangent, it's just frustrating to see how slow the devs are with implementing quality of life changes and only focusing on band-aiding the game with perks.

so you want three second chance perks and kindred as basekit to survivors? you know I can survive without any of those perks, I think you may be playing badly if you NEED these.
they said that they are more want to make something better by a more complex and probably better modification than the brain dead action of just shoving an add on into the basekit. people were suggesting add-ons that would benefit freddy but they made freddy much better and not because of adding an add on in.

Kindred base kit makes too much sense that's why it won't be done. It should be but it won't happen because behavior insist on making the solo experience utter garbage and make the swf experience broken and largely untouched. Wouldn't be surprised if they walk back the OoO changes like they did ds long ago.
A lot of add-ons feel mandatory playing shape in red ranks feels impossible without some stalk add-ons of which you only have 3 with the third requiring nemesis to take advantage of. Trapper an obvious one although I do think many killer's have addon's that could be extremely problematic and are holding back a lot of these changes. Trapper iridescent are straight busted but his inherent slow map traversal, trap preparation and lack of range reset capabilities makes him a terrible killer. Huntress iri heads obviously nonsense they could make the first hatchet thrown at max hatchet capacity instadown's instead to increase the skill cap but maintain the reduce hatchet capacity. Most of the other killers I argue are fine in the balanced add on department but I 100% agree killers need to have a lot of these low rarity add-ons be base.
Why not have experimental weeks. Where during every 2 weeks some survivor and killer perks/addon's are on them at base. People have been asking for so long new content why not open up build option's.

Oinkers main here, I want to add on to the list of things that should be base kit on killers! 😊
Amanda Young, AKA The Pig, should have Rules Set NO.2 basekit. Yes, survivors will focus more on generators, but they will be put on a 2 minute and 30 second timer without any progress on the Jigsaw Boxes. If multiple survivors refused to do Jigsaw Boxes while their timer wasn't activated, that's game ending for the survivors, especially when she could use add-ons to make RBTs more lethal. 🤷♂️
If they complete the last generator and everyone has a RBT, I'll just open the gates and get free sacrifices at that point. 😊

The best part about this update for me is the new survivor portraits in the new HUD. I'm not a fan of the new HUD, although I really love that we finally get to see the survivors faces. I've always wanted that!

I get your post is meant to be satire but I always felt that a weaker version of Unbreakable should be basekit. For example you fully recover to 95 (Full meter without unbreakable) and once per game you can perform a 20 second charge where you pick yourself up but if you cancel it you have to start over like cleansing a totem. Comes with an animation and everything while the survivor is grunting in pain.
Why do I argue this? Even as a killer main who has a lot of slugging builds I know being slugged is boring AF. I feel this would make those slug games less miserable for the excessively one sided games.
