Solo survivor is a big no-no.

There is almost no enjoyment out of playing solo survivors. It feels like playing with AI bots (most of the time) who were poorly scripted.

It is really sad that human can seem so robotic, especially since Dead by Daylight has such a clear objectives.

Please, watch this guide from Otzdarva, it is really insightful and it will most likely help you.

Happy killing/surviving.

Solo survivor isn't as horrible once you get out of low ranks. Just came back from a long break so I'm only rank 16 right now, and yeah my team mates are almost always ass

    Missing the point mate.

I wasn't talking about pipping or surviving since I don't care about those two.

I was talking about straight up NOT having fun where matches feel like playing with AI. If seeing people not knowing objective and banging at walls is fun and amusing for you, it is not for me and you are free to take all of those for yourself.

Also, we are free to be influenced by others, if I quoted someone less known you wouldn't even notice it, missing the point at the blank start.

Not all teammates are like that. You encounter lots of different people while playing. And you can't force people to play certain way so you can have fun.

Either get used to people coming in all shades and colors or I dunno play single player games.

Solo is great and blaming teammates is just focusing on someone else. Focus on yourself cause no one else can run your chases for you. So what if teammates get slaughtered, earn your bp and pip as their failures still aid you with that. Even with no assistance in some matches, my chances stay the same.

The game is really no longer balanced for solos, unless you enjoy playing at near impossible odds. Killers are too map aware and their perks are too strong in stopping objectives, tracking, and all. All of these perks and abilities have been buffed or added overtime while survivors have been nerfed overtime.

Just run perks that will help you as a solo player. Ditch those metas and try something that will actually give you some information.

Kindred, Better Together, Blood Pact, Bond, Small Game, all of these pay off big in solo play. I hit rank one through solo every month and I'm probably just an average survivor skill wise. Don't even use DS or exhaustion perks.

I get matched with good survivors for the most part too. You just need to know how to play solo, it's not impossible or even close to impossible.

I don't think any of your really understood the point, but that is okay.

Let me put it in the simplest way possible.

It is not hard to progress as solo survivor.

It is hard to HAVE FUN

If you play solo, Bond is pretty much a must have perk... so ditch Unbreakable or some other situational garbage perk you're running and run that.

It gives you all the information you need to survive. If someone isn't doing something, you'll see it and can paint a target on their back.

If you see someone crushing it in a chase, you know to save that person because they're an asset to the team.

It gives away the killers location during a chase so you can prepare yourself to hide or get off a gen way earlier than expected.

It gives you locations of gens you wouldn't otherwise see if someone else is already working on one...

    RUN BOND IN SOLO PLAY.

    This.

I play only solo, and I'm between rank 1 and 2 every month, doesn't make it less frustrating when the game a lot of times is lost, not because you're bad, but because of your team.

I also want to try different perk loadouts, but feel forced to run always the same things to help me in solo Q, which gets really boring.
