Why do people only play hag, billy, wraith, trapper, nurse, and doctor. Why not the other killers?
I keep playing against people who play with the original 6 aka trapper, wraith, billy, nurse, hag, doctor. Why does nobody play the other killers?

Might have something to do with the fact that on Console those are the only killers that come with the game. Every other killer is DLC.

I personally only use pig, myers, ghostface and once in awhile trapper

This is why I think, instead of 7 survivors & 5 killers as default. They should lock only Trapper & Dwight as default for new players. Then give 90.000 shards so new players can have various starts as their will.

Certain ranks use certain killers more. I imagine console killers favor playing some killers over others due to harder controls when compared to PC? Or maybe you're just getting unlucky. Whenever I play survivor the killers I get are pretty diverse.

because hag is one of the best killers if you are good at her and she is fun if you like the satisfying feeling of things working out as you planned.
People say FL's and urban destroy her but they don't you have to have like 3 or 4 flashlights for it to be a real issue and urban is so rarely used and only helps with saves really.

That and getting a new killer to a playable state in terms of perks takes forever. Easier to focus on a few killers and get good perks on them.

I'm a (previously?) rank 3 hard Wraith main. I play him because in my eyes he seems like the most honest killer. He has to think forward and not be shy with his intentions to really excel. If you lose to a Wraith then he was probably a good Wraith.

I'm playing demo atm, but honestly killers like this are weaker and you don't always feel rewarded even if you play well, why would you buy and play a DLC that's not very good or are better versions already in game? But I understand it sucks versing the same killers, only seen 5 types the past week... gf, nurse, spirit, slinger and huntress

Console players do not have a problem whatsoever spending money on DLC, cosmetics etc...

Where are these Trappers you are talking about I've seen one in like the past 3 weeks.
It's been a lot of huntresses lately because the update made her super easy to play.

Honestly, I'm so tired. As soon as I got to red ranks it's always those 6. Don't get me wrong, I understand people play whoever they want, but it gets boring when you only meet the same killers every match. Where is my ghostface :(((

If you play on PC w/ crossplay off you might find me playing Blight, Pyramid Head, Bubba, Trapper, or Legion.

If been seeing so much Freddy that I've started running a build I call the "F*** Freddy Build"
Technician, Self care, Small game and adrenaline. It only works 20% of the time though and yes that's vs a Freddy and not other killers

If you play console cross play, aw man, you would be annoyed. You face wraith probably 3 times, trapper 3 time. Per week.

T1) Pig, Huntress, Hag, Spirit,
T2) Doctor, Wraith, Legion, Deathslinger
T3) Nurse, Ghostface, Clown,
T0) The rest... lol

Poor buggers going to be wondering why you're always awake, you can swap out self care for calm spirit if you like as failing gen skill checks also wakes you up, but it's your call

As a Doc main for me it's just who I have the most time with and he's easy blood points so I use him to grind with BBQ and pump them into other killers when I don't feel like slugging through the first 20-30 levels of a particular killer. Been branching out but The Shock'ter is a guilty pleasure.

Well if I use spirit I get shamed for playing a blind killer.
play death slinger get shamed for finding tiny cracks in walls to shoot them
Playing nurse is just a mess now
I hate freddy so much that even I dont want to play him
And legions power is dog water so is majority of other killers powers.
So I'm stuck with blight huntress ghost face bubba ph and wraith. That narrows down why some of us only play certain killers

I play Doc, Hag, and Trapper with some regularity because I like the way they play. Doc is easy when I'm looking for a stress free game. I enjoy the set up and planning of Trapper and Hag. Catching a survivor in a well placed bear trap is one of the best things in the game.
