Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Fix Your Game

This is the second time in 24 hours that my game has crashed. Do you know what it did after I got back into the game? It gave me a penalty for leaving the round. YOUR GAME GAVE ME A PENALTY BECAUSE I CRASHED IN THE MIDDLE OF A ROUND. IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT YOUR GAME IS BROKEN. I love this game but fix it.

well, they have a lot of fix beside this. so...they probably wont fix it anytime soon. btw, the penalty is probably 5 min. unless this happen like 3/5 matches, they wont care.

  • I know it sucks to get a penalty that you feel was unjust, but that isn't DBD's fault. The game can't tell if you actually DC'd or if you crashed. If you disconnect for any reason you'll get a penalty.

If you followed the instructions in the pinned template post, you'd see they tell you to post your logs and how to find them. If you're crashing, the logs would help find out why you're crashing so you can actually fix that, because more than likely it's an error on your end and not on the game's considering there aren't countless posts about it crashing, much less multiple times under 24 hours. It could be any number of things, but without logs there's no way to tell what's up.
