Will the killer-side hitboxes (or desync) be fixed as well?
Just a really quick question, I've had many killer swings that should've hit but didn't despite be being in a fair range to get a hit.
Is this known and is gonna be fixed with the second hotfix?
Just wanted to make sure this is also gonna get fixed as it makes killers who get very last second hits like wraith incredibly frustrating to play.

Are you joking right now? Seriously? Hit boxes are giant on survivors. If ur not hitting them, then it’s not a bug. Lol I’m getting hit by two metres away and around rocks and corners and pallets now. And ur complaining about killer hits killer sided? Lord. The entitlement.

Yeah I've had this a lot. Swing right through their head and hit a wall haha. No dead hard or anything just the game decides you don't hit.
Meanwhile if you swing at the ######### air like 5 feet behind them you hit them.
I assume it's the same issue, and should be fixed in the next update yeah.

If u are playing against people with a bad ping (+100ms) this problem will occur quite often. Im not sure if it is caused only by the last patch. Could be also be a problem of dedicated servers. I recently made a post about it:

Hopefully yea, but there hasn't been much talk about the killer side hitboxes, so I'm concerned its not on their radar of high priority bugs.

I'm just gonna assume that the killer sided desync is related to the survivor desync,so fixing that one should also fix the killer side

Ah yes, asking for something to be fixed is being "entitled". Both sides are facing desync issues (both need to be fixed).

You have no clue. The visual on the killer side is not huge hitboxes. There is indeed significant missed hits from the killer view.
My favorite was when 3 survivors were healing in a pile and I walked up next to them... And whiffed while they weren't moving.

I'm only playing killer lately because it's the only role that's playable for me. I can also tell it's a miserable experience for the survivor players I'm against as well.
The survivor desync is a much more pressing issue than some killer hits wrongly whiffing. I reckon out of 50 swings, 1 I felt robbed.
On the flipside almost every hit I took as survivor was dedicated. You can't play reactively with the killer wrongly positioned on your screen.
I want to see killer hits fully fixed too but survivor right now is much more important and broken right now.

I understand that the survivor issue is much worse than the killer end, but I'm having hits every game robbed because of these hitboxes or whatever it is. Many swings through pallets that I would normally get I am not getting.
Both need to be addressed at the same time as playing killer and having hits stolen from me is not fun art all.

I am often experiencing this issue while playing Plague. When I am doing full lounge on running straight survivor at distance that definitely should hit (I've played a lot before the patch, I know the distance), but I am getting a miss. On my screen I definitely see the vile definitely touches the survivor, but the hit is not getting registered. On the other hand, when I play legion, I could hit survivor a mile away.

Not gonna lie, I do love the meme potential of just getting smacked out of literally no where randomly though as survivor.
