Does anyone actually think survivor is difficult?

I have over 5k hours in this game and am rank 1 in both surv and kill but survivor is clearly drastically easier, which I'm completely fine with tbh but is there anyone that actually finds surv difficult?

It's not that people think Survivor (or Killer) is difficult. It's that the mechanics in the game can make playing either unfun. Survivor is for sure a lot less stressful than playing killer. But I wouldn't say it's "easier" in that regard. There are still things survivors have to deal with, such as painfully designed killers to go up against or hitboxes. It depends on how you define "easy".

On the flipside, it really all depends on the map and the players you play with/against.

You only consider survivor difficult at the very beginning and at the very end of your learning curve.

I would not say it is drastically easier, because Killer is also easy as hell. But it is easier than Killer, yes.

If I'm facing a Spirit or Nurse, and they know what they're doing, then I'll find it difficult, however survivor in general? No not really.

Honestly I never found any problems as a solo survivor.

Sure you get some, well let's say a lesser skilled, survivors who go down in 10s.

If i see that i always want to get chased (I always want to get chased) and see why they go down so fast.

At which point I realise the only spot they are good on are on gens and not chases 😂

Personally without the hitboxes messed up as they are now, I find survivor easy af no matter what killer I face tbh.

I can run no mither without iron will and ds and still escape.

And that is while still doing gens, unhooking, healing, getting chased (they always love chasing no mither 😬).

A few weeks back I did it again agains hag and had a lot of fun doing it.

Tbh I only get frustrating as solo when I see a 3 man swf trying to bully the killer and going down fast.

That puts me between a rock and a hard place.

At that point it basically becomes a 1v1 and rarely I managed to save them.

Depanding if the killer is hovering around or not.

And as a cherry on top they then blame me for not doing anything 🤔🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

It really depends on the map, the killer, the killers skill, whether you SWF or solo, if you have good teammates, whether you use meta perks, whether you want the killer to chase you or you immerse for hatch, etc.

But generally, I'd say survivor is easier. You don't have to think constantly like you do as killer and can chill on gens and may not even be chased sometimes.

Both sides can be easy or hard depending on circumstances.

Ranking up is easy as long as you play enough.

Yeah sometimes, when against good killers and I get caught in a bad moment. Its waaaaay easier than killer though. Survivor mode is like a party game, killer is win or be humiliated.

Solo q is about the hardest survivor can get and sometimes randoms aren't so bad but it seems majority of the solo players I see want to urban evade and not touch gens, they wait out the hatch from the beginning and then they're the ones teabagging at the open hatch telling the killer to get good in the chat, even though they're too damn scared to touch a gen and never escape through the doors

Survivor isnt easy for me when i get into about rank 5 or 6. Im on console and at that point im more likely to run into rank 1 PC spirits and blights. There is a big difference between going against a PC player and a console player.

Once you get one survivor down you've figured them all out.

Does it really matter? Imo it's to each their own, I usually find killer easier than solo survivor, but I have no doubt others might feel the opposite way.

its not difficult but when you play solo the game can snowball easily.

This game in general has a super low skill ceiling. I'd say after a few hundred hours you can master pretty much everything besides super niche cross-map hatchets and the likes.

Killer is vastly easier and relaxing then solo or duo survivor.

As killer I know my losses or ######### ups are on me, but the vast majority of teams are potatoes so you don't have to sweat super hard anyways.

While as survivor, you're at the mercy of how good your team is and if they can even handle the simple task of holding m1 on a gen.

  • In a swf? Not really, it's pretty easy tbh, very relaxing even.

In solo queue? A nearly impossible hair pulling train wreck.

Killers is generally harder though because it's you versus 4 people.

Survivor is easier than killer (depending on the killer though because Freddy is braindead), but nothing in this game is difficult except for mastering the Nurse and MAYBE reaching the full potential of the killers' and the survivor's abilities. But you don't need that full potential to win as either side so it doesn't really matter.

Playing survivor in a 4 man SWF is difficult against a high level killer. Please note that high level killers are even more rare than good survivors.

It can be because you depend a lot on your teammates. You cannot 1v1 the killer if you’re getting camped and no one has BT to save, for example.

Survivor isn't difficult in and of itself. Teamwork is. For all the extra mechanics Killers have to deal with, and the bullet dodging Matrix powers some Survivors seem to possess, at least they don't have a brain-dead teammate to worry about. It's the one real saving grace of Killer, though it also means a loss is entirely their fault.

Solo queue is hard and some killers are difficult to play against such as spirit or slinger but overall it is easier than killer but I have more hours in survivor so that’s probably why

I think survivor is "hard" purely from the fact that you need to rely on your 3 other teammates. Sometimes you just have unwinnable games because your teammates did literally nothing. If you have a team of 4 where everybody is good at the game survivor is definitely easier. I play most of my games in solo so I definitely feel a lot of pressure playing survivor.
