Cheryl mains, rise up!
Fed up of not getting an answer to complaints regarding Cheryl's green outfits being linked, we have seen from the cosmetic bug that none of her default, or green cosmetics clip with one another or have any other visual bugs, so why are they still linked?
If it's a licensing issue, tell us that, I'm sure Konami would maybe consider giving you permission to unlink them if you show them how many people would prefer having the option of more customisation for her. If it isn't a licensing issue, just unlink them already.

P3 Cheryl is best Cheryl.

I've said it before and I'll continue to say it. We need a Princess Heart costume, dammit.
9 -
Yeah, let us at least use the weapon or head from those sets :(
3 -
Tbh I wish they'd just add all the outfits from SH3, I really want to wear her zipper tank top and her Light to the Future tank top.
5 -
there's literally nothing wrong with unlinking all the survivor heads of all the survivor sets, same with killers' sets weapons
18 -
When changing just the head that's true, but things like Cheryl's default skirt interacted weirdly with pieces such as Lisa's torso.
1 -
I want a Maria skin for cheryl
8 -
I know that's why I said heads (but I enjoyed playing with floating bodies too)
3 -
Omg I'm so stupid, glazed over the word heads, sorry
1 -
There's really no reason for her Starting Over set to be linked. She looks really good with jeans.
14 -
I want the starting over hair and jeans with the red t-shirt. I think it would look cute as heck.
7 -
It looks bomb with the black Jeans and the p3 head
3 -
AGREE!!!!!
at least unlink "Starting over + Moving on"
they shouldnt be locked
8 -
Now this is my kind of post
Absolutely, BHVR there was no reason to link Cheryl's clothes, she could wear a tank top with Jeans in the actual game so why can't she do it in DBD!
Is it like, the Entity's fashion preference or something? Like actually...
7 -
I don't even care if they link them for purchase but let you mix after that.
Keeping them linked in just infuriating
4 -
I can fully understand the Legendary Series being a set, but there's no reason for the Starting Over & Moving On cosmetics to be a set. I actually bought MORE cosmetics due to this bug to use. I'm sure I'm not alone either. If it is a licensing issue, they could at least tell us, or attempt to negotiate something with Konami.
8 -
Your necks already rise up.
1 -
Please, I just want Cheryl to be able to wear jeans and a sweater at the same time.
6 -
Exactly, if anything it would generate more income for Konami if they get any of the profits made from cosmetics. More customisation means more sales.
0 -
I really don't see why she wasn't given any, in SH3, all of her crop tops were worn with jeans.
1 -
Exactly, so many people say that Konami probably want Cheryl to be kept how she was in SH3, but you couldn't wear her tank tops with her skirt in SH3 so surely that can't be the reason that they've been kept as linked sets.
1 -
The combinations are so pretty..
If the team are not going to change the sets then I hope her future outfits are going to be separated.
I can't wait for new ones already. 😞
6 -
Me too, but I get the feeling that they'll only add legendaries for Cheryl from now on. I hope I'm wrong though.
1 -
All the Cheryl mains that unlocked her cosmetics basically have Legacy now. So we'll always be able to see who the true mains are from now on
0 -
Apparently some people have had their cosmetics reset though, hope it doesn't happen to mine
1 -
Mine was reset :(( logged on today and I cant even redo it, absolutely gutted
3 -
Sorry to hear that, I'm hoping that if we keep this thread alive for long enough, BHVR might actually respond to it in some way, it's so stupid that the outfits that don't change the character or even clip with other cosmetics have been kept locked.
1 -
Outfit combinations are one thing but man, they really need to shrink her neck!
1 -
Same :( Let me use the moving on/starting over heads with other stuff please!
1 -
You're no Cheryl Main. Your Avatar betrays you. You're one of those filthy Yui mains.
1 -
How very dare you! I dabble in Yui gameplay every once in a while, my love for AMN in no way means that I would betray Cheryl.
0 -
Cheryl looking at you with that doubtful eye. She pressing F to doubt right now.
0 -
Cheryl please, me playing Yui meant nothing, it was a one time thing!
0 -
I'm not buying cosmetics for Cheryl specifically because they can't be mixed.
1 -
Not a Cheryl main but totally agree.
Mine also has the pants, with the xmas sweater and the brown hair
1 -
Makes no sense. With every other set in the game I can somewhat see why the devs decided to link them (with the exception of the Twins "Blood and Guts" outfit, why is that linked BHVR?!). But Cheryl's green skins, excuse me? I don't see a problem there. Wish BHVR would just tell us the reasoning for it.
2 -
Exactly, a big part of DBD's character customisation is the fact that you can make your own combinations. Removing that aspect is going to do nothing but cause a drop in sales. Unlinking them would generate a larger profit for BHVR, so I really don't know why they're still linked.
1 -
Same here, if it's a licensing issue caused by Konami, they should tell us that instead of just being as vague as possible when people have complaints. I for one would be more than happy to start a petition to try and get BHVR to renegotiate with Konami if we were just told why the outfits haven't been unlinked yet.

I'm such a Heather main, I just didn't know this was something I could take advantage of until it was gone!
0 -
cheryl has been so forgotten since Descend beyond. Ugly face cybil, neck has always been weird in lobby animation, alessa's skirt passed from having a boner to being a balloon
0 -
It is a licensing issue. Having locked cosmetics was a requirement from Konami. The locked cosmetics added since have been partially to normalise it, partially because they might as well go nuts with stuff like onitaur.
They can't say it's a licensing issue, that would be a big no no. Not only is discussing details of a license agreement just a bad idea, but also it would be pointing the players to be mad at konami instead of them, which is a worse idea. Both of those are easy invitations to a lawsuit or at the very least ensuring they get no more cosmetics.
And finally, konami doesn't give a ######### about us. They decided long ago that they'd rather make money instead of games, and they're already making money off dbd and those cosmetics. The chance of them caring enough about the few more people who would buy cosmetics if they weren't locked, to then go adjust their license agreement, is very dam slim.
All that said, it's still good to raise your concerns and thoughts, better than staying silent. Atleast bhvr knows our feelings about locked sets and that we'd very much like less of them. We're unlikely to influence any of Cheryl's sets, but hopefully we can influence future sets.
