Session Closed Error

  • Platform: Xbox Series X|S
  • New error introduced in the 4.5.1 bugfix patch. When in a lobby, this error will kick the player back to the main lobby again, requiring them to start searching for a match again. Happened twice in 3 matches, really troublesome when you spend 10+ minutes in a killer queue, just for this to happen.
  • Occurs randomly when in a lobby for both killer & survivor.

Just started getting this as well for both survivor and killer queues. Lobby fills up and when it goes to load I get the "Session Closed Error"

Tried restarting the game and turning off Cross Play but it still happens. Currently on Steam/PC

Same here. Have been getting it all night. Have also gotten the “Connection with host could not established” one frequently.

    Update:

Had another error very similar to this one, that also stopped matchmaking from occurring, it was just worded differently.
