If you guys are going to make the new ds nerfed, can you guys at least make it so it stuns the killer automatically instead of hitting a skill check, this will help with people that dont wanna get tunneled and people that cant hit the skill check like a newer player or a player with shaky hands.
If you get tunneled you shouldnt have to hit a skill check so you dont get tunneled. You should just be able to not get tunneled. And yes I know some people will just say "get good at skill checks" while tjis may be true in some cases, some players find it extremely difficult to hit it maybe because they are nervous or it might lag during the skill check. This is just my opinion but I think it would benefit the game a lot.

My suggestion was to make it a press like dead hard. That way survivors could at least keep it if they don't want to use it.

So you want to nullify another player's actions without requiring any skill whatsoever. Gotcha.

I have very shaky hands due to a health condition and even I can hit the skill check every time.
I have to use macros for struggle and holding M1 down because my hands cramp up and spazz out too much for both those actions sometimes; and the DS skill check is still not much of an issue.

I actually kind of agree with that..If you can't do thing for a whole minute and the killer is chasing you down tunnel style..Yeah seems fair

I have awful shakes in my hands and I can still hit DS no problem.
It's mostly muscle memory, if you can't hit it quite yet, no worries! Just keep practicing.

I agree they should remove the skill check or atleast make it bigger so you can still save it for later. I‘m using this perk since 2018 and I still miss the skill check quite often. Especially when I’m actually getting tunneled.
Another good idea would be that you just have to press a Button like with dead Hard as someone mentioned above. If it’s truly supposed to be a an anti tunnel perk they should also remove scratch marks for 5 seconds after stunning the killer with it.

If you want to save it for later all you have to do is not try to hit the skill check, dont hit any button and let the skill check go, then you save it for next time.

I have said it before and I say it again, having skill check on DS makes just as much sense as having to tap Spacebar to struggle on the hook...

The new DS will only affect tunnelers most of the time, so this would make sense to guarantee a punish to tunnelers, but it wouldn't make sense with the perk's design in lore, so I'd say just keep the skill check. Most of us have adapted to hitting skill checks anyways. Good luck out there!

I kind of wonder if it shouldn't be limited to one use. Letting Survivors use it off both hooks would help deter tunneling while the other chance would remove the abuse aspect of it. But instead they just straight nerfed it.

Thats a giabt skill check and your life doesnt depend on you hitting that skill check.
