We need a Perk Search Bar
I am so frustrated having to browse through the list of Perks in utter stress before a match begins, trying to find that one specific Perk I know I have but can't find it even after flipping the pages like 10 times in a row.
I own all the perks in the game for my survivors and Killers, there are a lot of them and they are all marked with the same color based on tier, so all I see is purple.
When I try to suggest that we need a search bar to quickly type in the name of the perk to find it, some people come at me telling: "JuSt PrEpArE FoR ThE MaTcH BeFoRe SeArChInG FoR It" - Like dude... It does not take much for BHVR to implement a simple search mechanic, they just need to realize that this is something that many want to see in the game.
Even if you happen to be someone who finds it useless to yourself, it is literally nothing away from you for it to exist.
I really hope they introduce it in the near future.

I don't think this is the priority right now
And also, the perks are in alfabethical order so it shouldn't be a problem

Never really had a problem finding perks because it's alphabetical, so if I know the name of the perk I can track it down quickly by switching pages, I'd expect typing to not be much quicker.
Wouldn't hurt though I guess.

A favorites list would be nice.
Right now we have 6 pages worth of perks. So even when they are alphabetically some names are confusing. Who would search Nurses Calling under A?

More than that a loadout preset should be incorporated. It would be a nice qol change, i hope they add it some day.

Few days ago same idea popped into my head, perk search bar would help me in a long run. same color of every perk just makes me completely confused. Also an option to check which perks is your killer/survivor missing would be pretty cool too.

Actually, this is a lot better than the search bar, why did I not come up with this myself, haha. Anyway, either way, I am satisfied.
Edit: The only thing about loadout preset is that if you need to change something about your preset loadout, well, you are back to square with the problem I have just pointed out, you would still need to find it by flipping through pages...

I think I load out bar for perks would be more useful to quickly swap.

Why do you think it should be their priority one in order for it to be possible? Programming a simple search bar is something any decent programmer can do in few minutes. This would not eat up precious time nor resources from the BHVR.

So you could make preset perk builds and quickly switch them in, because that sounds good.
Also, it won’t be “useful” but what about a randomiser?

Randomiser would be a fun way to discover new builds that could even become Meta, lol. I am not against it :D

I think they should change the perk system to what they have from mobile. They separate the different perks into category pages.

I am not good with alphabetical orders in something like DBD. The pages are not like an excel sheet with a clear simple view. There are perks wit unusual starting like "A Nurse's calling" instead of "Nurse's calling" <- guess which one I am thinking about when searching for it...

It's funny though that two people have brought up Nurses now, it's literally the first perk on the list so you don't need to search lol.
I get your point though, would be useful to be able to search for a text match in the name, e.g. "devour" rather than "hex: devour"
Even better would be to search any text on the perk description. E.g. you search for "exposed" and it gives you any perk containing exposed, e.g. dragons grip, MYC, etc...

I must admit I would like this feature, I hate having to try to find the perk I want to use...would be good if I could just start typing the name in the search bar and it would pop up, but I do understand that this is probably a more "nice to have" feature rather than a necessary one. Would still be good tho.

I feel its really easy to find Hex Perk as Killer since they always start with "Hex"
If the rest have similar name category, it would be great

Hex: Ruin
Aura: Nurse call
Aura: BBQ
Obsession: Save best for last
Obsession: Rancor
Aura: Bond
Aura: Empathy
Exhaustion: Sprint burst
Exhaustion: Dead hard
