A problem I've seen people do with Clown's yellow bottles.

They try and use it for mobility like Blight or Billy. If any Clown mains would like to clarify isn't it best to save the yellow bottles for getting from loop to loop? After a hit. If so is this why people are still calling him F tier because they're playing him wrong?

Yeah, I quickly realized that his bottles aren't used for map mobility as much as using them to close the gap between survivors. You feel the difference when you use it to get closer to a 'w' gamer as opposed to using it for map traversal.

  • The only time I'm ever using it for traversal is if I'm trying to beat survivors to a hooked survivor or a gen, which I don't think is the worst idea in the world depending on how far away you are, otherwise yeah, primarily best used for catching up to a survivor, especially if used in conjunction with a purple bottle to slow them down.

I'll only ever use the antidote for map traversal when I pretty much know I have the game won

The best use of Clowns bottles usually are when you are trying to get to a survivor but your slowdown bottles won't hit them, not for map mobility like many do.

It's used to close the gap between you and the survivor.Throw an antidote at them and then a tonic and you'll catch up to them very quickly.

You also use it in combination with the tonic to get hits at safe loops.

Using it for map mobility or to carry them to hooks faster is generally a waste of time.

Clown main here (sort of, I main Blight and PH as well), I run the movement speed reload addon (Smelly Inner Soles), which makes Clown reload similarly to the Deathslinger except you can cancel it. With the 3 second reload time, it's pretty quick to be honest, so I throw a yellow bottle to get to a gen, reload the bottles in the yellow fog, and I speed to that gen. If you use an addon that gives you 1-2 bottles, you can spare the two for getting around the map.

Antidotes are still pretty good to use during loops tho, as long as you know what you're doing

That actually makes me think...use the faster reload addon with the movement speed while reloading (yes I know this addon isn't good) while in the antidote gas...could be fun and pretty zooming lol

    Anyone here try it?
