Why should you crush Victor?

He instantly respawns and zooms across any map. The crush can also be cancelled by Victor leaving you vulnerable. Being close to Victor is, in my experience, a guaranteed hit for him. Why should you even bother kicking him in a chase?

It makes him reset and gets rid of the intel he can give within his proximity, yea he can cancel you crushing him but usually when he's just standing there Charlotte's busy

It'll still take time for Victor to find you again.

Because you make more distance on the killer? If she sends the baby after you again and you are healthy he can't track you. You protect other survivors who might be near you. And you are no longer pressured by the killer.

uh, because it wastes a ton of the twins time.

don't focus on the 1v1 aspect so much. yes, after 6 seconds she can send him out to kill you again, but she's first gotta wait for the cooldown, send him out, start looking for you again, etc.

that is time waste, my friend. this game is not just you vs the killer, it's the killer vs your team of 4. while she's wasting her time just chucking her gremlin at you, your team should be getting the objective done.

Oh no, you said the B-word, let's hope you don't get banned.

But to the topic, like HellDescent said, by kicking Victor you remove all the pressure the Killer could have, also you're protecting others from a massive snowball.

Honestly it's almost a coin toss if it's good or bad play to do

(This is from a killers perspective)

I've had times where Victor being on the map was best. I could keep pressure on multiple survivors that way as I could track survivors without being there and could switch to him if I can't find a survivor or if I had more than one person in Victor's range. It gave me crucial information and options.

There have also been times where I'm chasing a hurt person just silently begging for Victor to be crushed. This chase would be over real quick if Victor wasn't on the other side of the damn map...

Unfortunately for you as a survivor, you have no idea which option is best for you in any given situation so it's kind of your call. Personally I'd always lean crush and hope that was the best option but there's always the risk you just helped the killer instead...
