Current Hostage Situation
Well its only been roughly 30 minutes so far as pf 9:00am PST but I'm currently being held hostage in match by 2 Survivors who won't do gens.
What do I do?

Record them if u are still in there for 5 minutes. Then report them and submit the video evidence.

record everything, report them in the end game, create a ticket in a link that I don't have in hand.

What even is this question lol. If they aren't doing gens you aren't required to go round the entire map searching every locker or corner for them xD

Well the survivors objective is to do gens, they aren’t attempting so this.
The killers objective is to kill, they aren’t attempting to do this either.

What. Are you saying the killer is also at fault for not being omniscient and knowing where the survivors are hiding in the match at all times? Bruh, when a survivor hacks and escapes do you go to the killer and tell them that they're at fault for not being able to kill the hacker???

It was a metaphor. Was just saying it's not fair to lay the blame on the killer as well since it's the survivors who are just hiding instead of doing the objective cause they don't wanna die. Also, why should the killer have to search for them? If the killer is constantly checking the gens that the survivors have to do to escape there shouldn't be a reason for them to leave. Unless the survivors are constantly setting off alerts to drag the killer away from the generators the killer has no reason or incentive to leave the gens.

It doesn't change if the survivors are not doing the objective - even if the killer is not looking for them, they then have much more of a chance to finish gens.
The screenshot with Peas explanation describes it as what it is - holding the game hostage.
