I was playing survivor, Feng Min, I started the map asleep and couldn't find the bell anywhere to wake up, played on anyways.. After screwing up a skill check and blew up the generator, I still did not wake up.. At this point I hit the record button on my Xbox Series X. Got hooked by Freddy.. Still asleep on the hook... Got saved, healed by other survivors and they waking each other up but they can't wake me up. I have 9 mins of video with this bug. Please fix

    Were you the obsession, and did freddy have the Black Box add-on?

    If so that's the cause of it, not a bug.

    Yes in fact i was the obsession, I'm not sure how to tell if Freddy had the add on. But I did not know and never experienced this before. Thanks.. Just thought for sure it had to be a bug because that's way OP

    I messaged the player in game that kept trying to wake me up but couldn't.. He said he checked and didn't see Freddy's add-ons but saw I was the obsession

    The black box add-on makes 1 survivor the obsession, and makes it so that person starts asleep and cannot be woken up. That's most likely what you encountered.
