Spooky ancient Egyptian underworld realm theme with Anubis for the theme killer/ or werewolf would be cool to see maybe in the future! But I’m just expressing the idea lol

    They both sound fun

I've been pondering the idea of a werebeast Killer who can shift from human to monster form as a mechanic. In human form, they essentially use the same locomotion as Survivors and can do many things Survivors can do (crouch, vault, hide in lockers) but not objective-centric things (interact with gens or totems). And in human form, they play in third-person like a true Survivor and give off no terror radius.

When they turn into their beast form, all Survivors are altered either by a distinct auditory warning or the Killer's howl/screech. The perspective shifts into first-person as well.

Im intrigued, but what possible benefit other than the third person view and undetectable status would the human form bring to the table? Im assuming they can't attack. The survivirs would know if its him.

I feel like Egyptian and Scarecrow styles are already covered by The Plague and The Blight respectively, they'd just need special skins like adding Anubis Plague and I guess just add straw to any Blight outfit.

A werewolf style killer would be very cool however, I don't really know what he would do that's unique to him though. Oni already does the transformation+rushdown role that's usually taken by werewolves and other killers like Ghostface/Myers use the stalking/hunting gimmicks. Maybe he gets some weird gimmick that makes him unable to find Survivors by a lot of the normal means, but instead follows scent trails and sound cues only like an animal? Maybe his Obsessions give off a trail, but regular Survivors are harder to track.

That idea has very high potential to be rubbish for the Killer or unfair to the Survivors though.

  • I've wanted another monster killer for some time.
