Why is adept so hard for killer?
I've been trying to get adept for trapper for almost 20 matches now. The adept requirements are so ridiculous for killer you literally have to play perfect. I played matches where I 4k with 9 hooks or more and I get ruthless because they got too many gens which you almost have to lose if you play trapper with no gen defense. Then I switch to survivor and get it first try because the killer was horrible.
please revert the adept to just 4 kills

Pip system is currently bugged, so that doesn't help. I had an Oni go for adept and not get achivement even though he 12 hooked us.

I was playing at rank 1 I know I'm not perfect but I said in my post that I 4kd and with 9 hooks and still didn't get it how much better do I have to be?

It is bugged? Honestly i'm just going to wait until mmr is turned on to try for anymore

I got my adept at rank 3 (so no easy brown rank pips) as Trapper in two matches, I yellow moried the last survivor and only used a yellow bag addon and lost 4 gens (I got my 12 hook though because they were quite altruistic!)
I think it just takes getting lucky tbh, rather than skill!

Why care about killer adept achievements in the first place ? Its pointlessly hard, mostly relying on survivors being bad enough to let you farm them to meet the requirements. And you gain absolutly nothing from it. So you don't lose anything by not doing them if you don't enjoy it.
Achievements are one of the stupidest thing ever invented and I will never understand why some peoples seem so obsessed by them in games where they aren't tied to any kind of tangible reward.

It is bugged. You will sometimes find you get Merciless Killer and only 1 pip and the acheivement will not pop. Cross your fingers and hope for a patch on Tuesday.

Imo adept killer should just be a 4k with the 3 perks.
There's a lot of factors that can lead you to not get merciless. If the survivors are really bad, you wont get it either. No one should be punished for the opposing team being weak.

Imagine there was a time when everyone could dc to deny u a kill (without dc penalty). That was hard :D
Try always to get 12 hooks at rank 1. For example kill the first two survivors with 6 hooks. After that go for the third one and make sure, that he is not dead on hook. Wait for the unhook and go for the other one. Repeat it unless they are both dead on hook.
If u play trapper or 1shot killers like Myers, Billy and Plague u should spend some extra time in chasing the survivors. It is actually ridiculous, but dont play them too efficiently.
U need some experience and luck to do it at rank 1, but it is not impossible ;)

I think they shouldnt change the requirements for adept. Just 4king was too easy and no challenge. And 2pipping with survivor is still harder, cuz u need good teammates, a bad killer and some luck.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you never had to two pip to get adept survivor. so If you really wanted the adept you could just bring a key a hatch offering and just hide the whole game and jump into the hatch doesn't seem very hard to me. Also the for the killer one 4king was easy but the adept right now is harder but also its stupid what you have to do so they should at least change it to something else. It could be a timed 4k that you have to rush to get or it could be a 4k before all the gens are done just anything would be better than how it is right now imo.

They're supposed to be difficult achievements to get though, right? I'm okay with the idea that certain cheevos should be more difficult than just "do X number of things". Getting some achievements should be, well... an achievement.
Maybe try using the padded jaws? I've found some Adept Killers are easier if you use the gimmick addon that makes you weaker but gives you extra BP.

I am having the same issues right now with Doctor.
I had a very long game, 12 hooked everyone and one gen was left. The outcome was Brutal.
This game is a joke right now
