Why do people still say this game is killer or survivor sided?
There's way to many elements that go into different matches for this game to be geared towards one side. Someone who plays/goes against forever Freddy on the weekdays in the morning would say this game is killer sided vs. a plague or wraith playing on the weekends in the evening would say it's survivor sided. This game is honestly pig-sided, which is why they should nerf her.

I mean, you said it. It's just experience and a large part bias.
To be completely fair, right now with the desync issues, I would say the game is killer-sided. But that's just right now. In general, the game is much more balanced than it ever has been.... Sometimes.
It's different skill levels, RNG, matchmaking. Imo, there are far too many things that influence the game to make it either sided. Someone who gets stuck in solo queue with terrible teammates will say the game is killer-sided, a killer that gets put up against a good SWF will say the game is survivor-sided.

Low ranks the killer seems unbeatable, you start off as a survivor with very little understanding of your perks, so even if your first surv is someone who has DS, or lithe or Dead Hard, you aren't good enough to use them correctly yet. Add to that the complete lack of map knowledge, which each side has, but killers start off with a small advantage in that they know where the gens are. For new players that bit of knowledge is huge.
High ranks you get a lot of swf squads who know the maps inside and out and are in constant communication, so even if they aren't running meta perks, they have a strong leg up, solo you still have much greater map knowledge and an appreciation for how easy it is to juke a killer's m1 strike. So it starts to feel more survivor sided.

Overall this game is balanced but maps addons and perks lead to it being killer or survivor sided on a match by match basis

I think it is important to have these discussions to get the game in the best shape possible. We can't make changes without first identifying problems so I think that's why people will so often say this game is unbalanced to one side.

Just to add to this, the tutorials for new players are crap. Been trying to get my wife to play, so I had her do the tutorials for both. The one for survivor only teaches how to fix gens, unhook people and hide. No consideration to looping, so most new survivors won't understand it.
The killer one has scratches, pools and hooking, but not hook states or anything other than m1, so we end up with a lot of new Killers that just m1, no matter who they play. Luckily for them, if they go with the one they use in the tutorial, they get trapper, who has probably the easiest to understand powers in the game.

Exactly! I tell people this, matchmaking and rng is too random, and it's "nope nope nope survivor/killer sided game". You watch a haddonfield match where the killer gets bullied or a shelterwoods strider spirit match & it gets used as definite proof the devs have a bias.

its because hard mains wants to blame sth for their lose xd literally everything is beatable if youre good enough (even sweat squads when you take 3k as a win)
but its better to tell this game is survivors sided but as "very good killer" Kappa i win vs almost everything right?
same goes with survivors you will always find survivors that will tell you game is killer sided and X killer is too OP (i'm maining wraith/pig and i met bunch of survs telling my this killer is OP)
its all just excuses xd game was and will be (after fixing desync) in most ballanced state it ever was
but you cant see it because of Matchmaker soloQ is mixing rly bad players with decent and making those decent players not play soloQ (with teammates that wont even unhook them), and kinda force them into SWF. And then there is even bigger % of potato players in soloQ and bigger % of SWF. Im not telling SWF isnt beatable (because it is and its not as hard difficult as ppl make it look) but if as killer you meet soloQ lobby youre gifted a win (im not calling it 4k because im not slugging for 4k and im fine with 3k + hatch), and im telling you that from my Killer experience (since soloQ is unplayable i switched to killer)

I mean, there are some actual issues, but for the most part, the game is so uncontrollable that it's almost impossible to balance. It's not a killer's fault if they end up going to the new Game with I swear 20+ Safe Pallets against a SWF as a Wraith or some #########. And it's not a Survivor's fault if they go to like you said, Shelter Woods against a god Nurse with trash teammates. Both these things exist, and as they are now, are uncontrollable.

looping was not meant for this game,this game was normally a hide and seek game and they never updated the tutorial for looping.
but I'm not great at looper and still win most matches(in solo Q)
this true most the Matchmaking and random of everything that hurts both sides.as killer rank 9 I get a mix of red rank and yellow rank same with survivor I get red rank killers no matter what rank I am and normal in green or purple and have yellow teammates.

It may not have been originally meant, but it's definitely core survivor gameplay now. Even though I also suck at it, lol.

looping not all beat all I normally try to hide and still win it looping what make survivor Op anyways or feel Op.

Killer vs survivor is because you're one or the other; people play both but will always lean to one side. Killer side is complex because as you stated mechanics being OP for some killers aren't for others

It is just my opinion. I noticed a lot of people seem to have god complex in this game. Blaming everyone and everything but never looking at themselves.

Entitled survivor/killer mains do not understand how much the rng in this game is a thing. So if they lose a match they're gonna say it is survivor/killer sided. Simple as this.
To all s/k mains, This is not a competitive game even if you do tournaments. Just play the game the best you can (if you really enjoy the game) and don't get mad if you get killed/genrushed, just go to the next match.
This is what I personally do:
As a survivor I like to get chased for as long as possible and I usually end up getting facecamped while the other teammates remaining escape.This is fine.
As a killer I just try hard with my Billyboy trying to get some good flicks and don't mind losing some games.
